WARNING...THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL OFFICE & WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE... .. I am a professional with years of experience in The Medical Field.. Clinicall & Administration... For any person and/or Family looking for.a Dentist... I WARN YOU .. PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE, THIS OFFICE IS IN NEED OF A MAKEOVER.. STARTING WITH THE RECEPTIONIST MIKA... This individual needs to be terminated ASAP... Let me start with each and every time I schedule a appointment... This office will cancel the appointment the same day... Mind you, I work for a very busy Medical Corporation and these appointments I schedule with this office need to be requested in advance and approved.. I had an appointment with this Dentist office last Friday on 5/20/2016... On the very day .. While I was extremely busy at work with patients... This office calls me once again to tell me my appointment was cancelled because the hygienist had an emergency and I needed to reschedule.. I rescheduled for Tomorrow 5/27/2016 @ 2:30pm.... Today is 5/26/2016 Thursday... My day off of work.. I call the office to confirm my appointment for tomorrow... And a very Rude, unprofessional employee by the name of MIKA answers the phone with no friendly greeting ... She basically tells me that the office is closed tomorrow.. And I was like ... Thats impossible because your office called me last minute the day of my appointment last Friday to cancel my appointment due to a emergency the hygienist had and I spoke with you to reschedule this appointment for tomorrow 5/27/2016.. I said No One called me to cancel my appointment... MIKA replied.. OH WELL THE DOCTOR CHARGED HIS SCHEDULE AND CLOSED TOMORROW.. This Receptionist Never once Apologized... In Fact she was extremely Rude, very Unprofessional and Short.. I continued to tell the Receptionist MIKA that every time I schedule a Appointment, the office always cancels on the same day and the only reason why I even know about my Cancelled appointment for tomorrow is because I am calling today to confirm the appointment... This Employee completely ignored my concern about the practice and continue to responds with Do you wanna Schedule or Not... I scheduled another appointment... I Hung up and called & spoke with one of my professional colleagues who is very familiar with lots of medical & Dentistry professionals .... After speaking with this individual, I called the Office to confirm Dr Arnold was No longer with this office ... The Receptionist MIKA pick up .. I made this individual aware I just called a few minutes ago and I was calling to confirm if Dr Arnold was still in practice with this office.. The individual answer No He Is Not, I continued by asking the name of this individual.. MIKA .., LOL.. She then paused and starts stating that she called my number and spoke with someone that cancelled the appointment by telling her something about their Grand child... I replied by telling MIKA ... I am Not sure who you called but you did Not call my cell phone, I am young, Not married, single and having No children and definitely No Grand children.. so she is clearly Incorrect about the so called conversation...I continued by cancelling my appointment..( I just had made on my first call)... And I will Not Be Returning.. She was unbothered by losing another Patient and never once apologized about any of my experience with this office ... WARNING TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A FRIENDLY, PROFESSIONAL DENTISTRY OFFICE..THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT THE PLACE.. I WISH YOU ALL GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE .. My RATING ON THIS OFFICE IS ZERO STARS., based on the Front office staff...,the one star I did give is Only For The Doctors...They both were excellent, but The front staff employees make this practice A miserable place, which I would Never Refer to Anyone....,,From the Desk of Isabella Garza

How can I give Dr. Parkinson 0 (zero) stars??? I had been looking for a dentist since we moved into this area. I found Dr. Parkinson and had a consultation. The first thing to be addressed was a 20 year old bridge that had cracked. Impressions were taken and a two week delivery was stated. I came back to get the final bridge installed which fit perfectly, where the upper molars and bridge did not touch. I was very impressed with Dr. Parkinsons work. Less than 12 hours later while eating dinner, a piece of porcelain broke off the new bridge. I was mortified and saved the porcelain in a paper cup for the doctor to see. The very next morning, I called Dr. Parkinsons office to inform them of the problem. I was greeted with the answering machine and left a message. After not receiving a callback, I called Dr. Parkinsons emergency number and left a message, again. Several hours later, a technician called and told me Dr. Parkinson was on vacation for the week. I explained the problem to her and said I could wait. She scheduled me a week later after Dr. Parkinsons return. I arrived at the office on time and met Dr. Parkinson who immediately started to blame me for the problem...even before I sat down in the dental chair!! Upon his examination, Dr. Parkinson said that this problem was due to me grinding my teeth. (Note that I had not slept between the installation of the bridge and when it broke....I dont know how many people grind their teeth while awake. A dentist has never told me that I grind my teeth, so I wondered how he could have come to that conclusion.) I reminded him that the problem had occurred within 12 hours of installation and asked whether the porcelain might be defective. He claimed that I had caused the problem and there was nothing he could do other than to smooth the broken area ("its only cosmetic"). I asked him specifically whether he would make this right by getting a new bridge but he said that I was responsible for the damage and he would smooth the tooth, but that was all he could do. Dr. Parkinson charged me $2,714.00 for the bridge, of which I was responsible for $1,555.40. I would not recommend Dr. Parkinson since it appears that he is more interested the money than his patients! Sincerely. Robert K S...

WARNING: Beware of this facility. In order to post this review I had to check at least 1 star. This practice only wants to put your credit card on file! Mind you, I was only told to bring a drivers license and insurance card on the day of my appointment. I was even called back to confirm my insurance had been verified and the cost for fluoride. On the day of the appointment, I was provided paperwork of which one document was a "Patient Financial Agreement" for me to put a credit card on file. What is the point of dental insurance??? The document says "As a courtesy to you, we can accept and file your dental insurance. Any outline estimate is based on limited information obtained from your insurance company and is not a guarantee of payment. When filing claims on your behalf, we allow 30 days for your insurance company to make a payment. After 30 days all inquiries (follow-ups & appeals) on payments due will become your responsibility. Please note: Insurance benefits are not verified before every appointment." The document must be completed in order for you to be seen according to the receptionist who coincidentally was the one to verify my insurance. Read the reviews prior to this one. Arnold & Parkinson Dentistry in Riverview on 301 and Gibsonton Dr will not be a place for me to take care of my dental needs. Why set yourself up to be ripped off? This practice shouldnt be a part of any healthcare companys network. Thank God for instinct. I took my paperwork and left. I suggest you not even attempt to deal with this practice.
