My first visit here went well, except for them trying to do extra things not covered by insurance and ultimately unnecessary. My husband came for his cleaning a few weeks later. When he was leaving they handed him a $95 bill. When he asked why, since cleanings are no cost with our plan, they told him it was because they did a "deep cleaning". Well, when I heard this I was livid. They never gave him a treatment plan or had him sign anything to consent to the extra treatment. Yet, they refused to do anything except say oops. At his next appointment they told him he needed a filling, not just any filling but a complex one that would be $103 out of pocket. Dr. B insisted so he did it. At his next appointment he was told he had to replace an old filling, again a complex one... $103 OOP. I went for my cleaning just a couple weeks ago. I complained out some sensitivity and soreness I was having. Dr. B and the hygenist agreed they saw nothing on my xray. But when he looked at the tooth he said he saw cracking. He was sure he would be able to "salvage" my tooth with a crown... $780 OOP. Trusting him, I made my appointment for the next week. I have never had anything like this done, so naturally I googled what it all entailed. Realizing how serious and permanent it was and that I didnt seem to have the usual symptoms of a cracked tooth, I made an appointment with my previous dentist an hour away for a second opinion. The other dentist saw me for free, looked at my xrays, examined my teeth, performed some bite tests and sensitivity tests. He said I had common root sensitivity from grinding my teeth and recommended I get a night guard at the store and some Sensodyne. Now less than a week later and the pain is virtually gone. I will never go back to Dr. Bivens office again, ever! I do not recommend anyone who values honesty to do so either.

This is the worse experience I have ever had. The billing did not file proper paperwork with my insurance company and for three months now I am bounced between my health insurance, dental insurance and the billing. I suppose to have two free cleanings, free X-rays once a year, and free check up. Instead, I am charged 80% of the bill for check up and X-rays, and I did not have a cleaning yet. The billing office will not call me back, I had to go and personally to see her. I still have no resolution to billing issue. Avoid this office. They will not ask you what you want to get done; they just do it and charge you. I did not ask for any preventive gingivitis care and was given a toothpaste. It turns out they charged me $15 for it without even telling me that how much it would cost me.

I dont normally write reviews, but Dr. Bivens and his staff saved my Florida vacation, so they deserve it! A few weeks ago, I was down there visiting family. I had two of my wisdom teeth extracted two days prior to my Florida visit, and hours after I got off the plane, I experienced excruciating pain in my gums. The pain intensified, and I was in tears on the way to our hotel. We looked up the closest dentist--it was Dr. Bivens. His wonderful staff got me in within minutes, even though I didnt have an appointment, and Dr. Bivens was in the room a few minutes later. I had a dry socket caused by the extraction. He packed it within minutes, and I was on my way. He was incredibly nice. His staff was welcoming. The building was clean. I would definitely recommend him to anyone!

I would like to commend this entire office. Its most unfortunate for me that one of my days off is one of the days that dr. Bivens office is closed. My selection of choices an appointment time is very limited. Due to this fact I recently scheduled an appointment at Coast Dental. And it was one of the worst decisions I could have made. Not only did they not clean my teeth for a routine cleaning they wasted over two hours of my time before telling me they could not clean my teeth. Anyone in the area who was searching for a dentist dr. Bivens and his staff Leean the hygenist especially are fantastic. Even if they are booked 6 weeks in advance its much worth the wait than to go to a franchise style business dentist office.

As a travel nurse, it is important for me to find the right healthcare professionals in the areas I live in. I was recommended to Dr Bivens by a friend and couldnt be happier with the results. He was able to fix a tooth that was bothering me and the staff couldnt have been nicer. My Insurance was also accepted. The office setting is very clean and I would trust him with any of my dental needs. I would highly recommend him as your dentist.:)

I just saw Dr. Bivens for routine dental care. I recently moved to Florida from Ohio and had seen the dentist for my entire life. I am glad to have found a dentist that is reasonably priced, but good quality. The office also arranged for me to come in a half hour before they opened so I didnt have to be late for work. I even referred my brother here and he had a good experience, too. I wouldnt go anywhere else!!

Love Dr. Bivens & his staff!! I was super nervous about finding a good dentist after moving to Florida, since my mom has been my dentist my whole life, and Ive never seen anyone else. I was so glad to find his practice - he is personable, knowledgeable, and trustworthy - didnt push anything unnecessary on me. He was also very thorough, and his staff were super friendly.

When you visit the office, you are greeted with smiles. You are seen by the dentist or hygienist on a timely basis. The staff members are very qualified and work well together. Dr. Bivens is an outstanding dentist. He is highly competent and efficient. No pain here. You will be delighted with your dental work, and you will leave the office smiling.

I was refereed to Dr Bivens by a friend of mine, and it was the best experience ever!! The staff was so welcoming, and he did an amazing job on my teeth. I have never been to a better dentist than Dental associates. DEFINITELY REFEREEING MY FRIENDS!!! PLUS its so affordable and they work with my schedule!!

I had an appointment today and was very pleased. I didnt have to wait in the waiting room ,they brought me back in a exam room within minutes. These days that means a lot . Great service also , Dr. Bivens and all his staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I need a fast repair for my front tooth, my cap came off. I visited Dr. Bivins, I was charged $1200 just for them to glue the cap back on, for that amount I should have been able to have the cap replaced. They are a rip off. Not good

I wouldnt say I "loved" my visit, lets be honest no one loves going to the dentist, but I give Dr. Bivens and his staff 5 stars. I was having a toothache and they worked me in right away. Everyone is always thoughtful and pleasant.
