I posted a review for this vet 3 years ago both here and on thier Facebook and it got deleted. We took our then 3 month old male Brittany spaniel mix in to get fixed and the staff was very helpful when we arrived. They seemed nice enough when they took our dog back for the procedure. The problems came when we were supposed to pick him up. They gave us a time when they would call us to come pick up our dog. 3 hours past the set time with no call, we were very worried and after calling the vet and getting huffy unclear answers we decided to just go to the vet office and get answers. When we got there we could a dog yelping and crying louder than all the other noise of a vets office. We had to describe our dog and his procedure multiple times before any of the staff could even remember him enough to acknowledge they had a dog fitting his description in the office. They complained about how hard he handled the anesthesia and how hard of a time he was having moving around. My husband offered to go with the vet tech to get our puppy so he would be less stressed. The staff got very upset and defensive at that suggestion and we both began insisting that my husband go back with the tech to get our puppy. The staff yelled at us and refused to let my husband help get our puppy. The vet tech went to the back and came back up the hall literally dragging our puppy by his leash and collar. Our puppy couldnt even walk! The tech wasnt moving slowly trying to take care of a dog that had surgery he was walking so quickly that my husband had to basically run past the staff at the desk to get to the tech to stop him dragging our puppy. He was crying and yelping and it took me a second to realize that the super loud dog I had heard when we came in had been my dog. My husband bent to pick up our dog and was scolded by the staff reminding him that our dog had just had surgery and we needed to be careful of his stitches. Are you kidding me?!?! You literally just dragged him on his stomach, with his legs splayed out to all sides, across the floor of the boarding room and down a hallway! Then you have the nerve to essentially reprimand my husband for actually caring about our pet? I still receive emails from this vet after telling them we would never come back, reminding me that my dog, with his name spelled incorrectly, needs this thing or that thing done. We have since found a vet that actually cares about animals and their people.

We took our dog to this vet for a couple of years. It seemed we always left feeling frustrated or confused, they were pushy about buying medicines only from them and when we wanted to buy elsewhere they made a big hassle out of it by saying we needed to take our dog in for additional tests in order for them to write the Rx, Huh? Everything was like that, theyre response was always. "I dont know wed need to do a test to find out" then the tests were always over $100. Ive had it, we went to another Vet in Saratoga Springs and boy they were a big help! They explained things clearly, their prices were a LOT cheaper, they were much more friendly and knowledgable. But guess what we found, when our dogs records were transfered it showed that he never had Heartworm tests done, but prescribed us the meds for it anyway? The new vet said he wasnt surprised, theyve had many other complaints about the Lehi location. Im convinced that the Lehi Animal Hospital is a business, not a hosiptal. So I dont recommend them.

We took our dog to him because he was the only vet around still open and it was an emergency. They wanted $350 to stitch up our dogs leg and threw all these charged in for sedation a penrose drain and what ever else they could write in there. We simply couldnt pay it so my wife questioned the charges since she works in oral surgery and he simply changed the subject. Eventually he said ok well we can staple it and it would be a lot less so we agreed. Still came out to 125 and they charged us for a physical exam which they did not do. Then they wrapped to dogs leg so tightly it became a turniquet and his paw swelled up to a balloon with little nails on it. We took him to our normal vet and they charged us $65 to sedate and stitch up our dog. Long story short this guy could car less about your animal and will do what ever it takes to get as much money as he can. If you care about your pet take it somewhere else.

Well, Im also surprised at the bad reviews. We normally take our cat to a Saratoga springs vet because we live closer to them. My kitty got very sick and needed to get in right away. I called Saratoga springs vet and they didnt seem to care that my cat was so sick and just said "sorry were booked, we can get her in 3 days from now". I called Lehi Animal hospital, and the receptionist was very caring and said to go ahead and bring her in now even though they were booked. I took her right in. Dr Chamberlain was very nice and explained everything so well, and even showed me pictures to explain what was wrong with my cat. The prices were very similar to all the other vets Ive taken my cat to. There was an aid that assisted Dr. Chamberlain when caring for my cat. They were both so kind and were so gentle with her. This is my first experience with him but my first impression rates very high!

We dont have kids, so our animals are our kids... we are VERY picky about the care that they receive. In 2008, my Shiba Inu was ran over in Weber Cnty and VERY severely injured. I was extremely hesitant to switch his care to a vet other than our beloved Angel Vet (who, in addition to the Animal ER vet, had saved his life) because I just didnt trust his recovery, follow-up and maintenance care to anyone else. Finally, I realized I couldnt drive to Ogden for every little thing, so I needed to get him established down here. We were referred to Dr Chamberlain by several friends and have been VERY happy. In fact, at first I would call our other vet after every appt to make sure she agreed with everything, but Ive realized I can trust Dr Chamberlain. His office is very competitive in pricing and they try really hard to make it as doable for their families as possible.

I took my dog in for an infection in her foot. After just glancing at the foot I was told that my dog would need surgery and given an estimate of over $600.00 with the office visit and such. I was like WOW!! I could not afford that so I had to pay the office visit of $35.00 and I took my dog to Brookside up in west jordan. They took her in actually inspected the wound and told me that they didnt think that what ever had caused the problem (probably a foxtail) was still in the wound. I was take her home soak her foot in epson salts for 2 days and if it wasnt better I would be about $125.00 to lance it open and remove it. They Charged me $25.00 and in 2 days my dog was completely healed and running around. I would not recommend this vet.
