Good thing (aka my reason for giving them 1 star): -The office is clean and nice. And one of the nurses there is really nice to me when I go Bad things (aka my reason for not giving them 3 or more stars) -My OB never looked at her chart before seeing me. EVERY. SINGLE. visit I had to tell her how far along I was when I was pregnant and what I was having (with my first!). I understand Im not your only patient, but please at least look at the friggen chart before you see me. -She never gave me helpful information that I would need to know about what happens to my body when Im pregnant. WebMD was more of a helpful guide. I dont understand: she knew this was my first pregnancy and knew I had NO idea what to expect... So why am I the one bringing up glucose testing and that I need to take it soon? This is my first pregnancy! Read my damn chart! -When you ask a question through the patient portal on their website, the nurses take a while to respond back to you. For example, I emailed about a possible yeast infection. It took them more than 2 business days to respond back. Why does it take so long to respond back to a simple question? This has happened to me constantly (lack of punctual response to my messages, not the yeast infection FYI). -When giving birth, the on-call OB (my OBs partner) pretty much told me my hips are too narrow for my "big" baby to be delivered vaginally (my baby was just over 7 lbs). Pretty much said (in not so many words) Im not good enough to be able to deliver my baby vaginally. Why would ANY doctor tell a patient this???! Especially a scared patient going through this experience for the first time???! -After coming out of OR from C-Section, the same on-call OB pretty much told me that giving birth scares her and she doesnt know how women do it. AGAIN--- WHY are you telling your patient this???! You are in the wrong field if you think its okay to say this out loud to a first-time patient. -No matter how many times I told the receptionist that my address needs to be updated, they have yet to update it (Ive lived in my new place for 10 months). Ive told them that my address needs to be updated and gave them my new address at least 5 times.

I have been going here for a few years! The office is always clean and looks very kept and neat. The staff has always been very sweet and understanding and they know who I am when I walk in. I recommend them to anyone that is looking for a new OB office. Dr. Choudhry is my doctor and I absolutely love her!! I have always felt like she cared about me, rather than just being her next appointment. When I found out I was pregnant with twins I was so happy I already had an OB that I trusted. She explained everything perfectly and again, was so patient with my extra questions and concerns (and trust me, i had a lot). I had tests done and she called me, personally, to ask how I was doing and to make sure I was feeling okay. I was overwhelmed, I really couldnt believe I got an actual call from her. The next day, on a Saturday, she called me again to give me the results of the tests. I always felt that she genuinely cared about me and the babies! Dr. Cs nurse and tech, Amanda and Angelique, were always so sweet! I really enjoyed talking to them and they also answered all of my questions They always seemed like they enjoyed their jobs and were easy to talk to! I have been to many doctors that didnt seemed to care, gave you text book answers, and were not all that personable - not here and thats comforting to know you can talk to them. Both ultra sound techs, Melanie and Gretchen, were awesome! They were so kind and knowledgeable; they always had stories to tell us and made each appointment so much fun, on top of getting to see our babies! Gretchen actually helped us with our gender reveal surprise! I needed to make a last minute appointment and I saw Dr. Anger, she was very kind also. I would be confident to see any doctor at this practice based on the two I have seen! Clearly Cornerstone cares about their clients and who they hire! =D

I hate to give this place a bad review because I truly loved having Dr. Choudhry as my doctor. She is wonderful; I just wish she worked elsewhere. The testing and billing practices at Cornerstone are incredibly shady. I went in for a lab test, and the doctor I saw that day, Dr. Duncan as Dr. Choudhry was out of the office, decided NOT to perform my requested test and chose to perform a completely different, unnecessary, and unbelievably expensive test without discussing it with me. She then proceeded to send that test to an out-of-network lab without my consent and in violation of their own policies. Their financial policy states a specific lab where they will send test unless otherwise requested by the patient. That lab is in network for me which is one of the reasons I originally became a patient at Cornerstone, but apparently Dr. Duncan feels she does not need to abide by that agreement and is perfectly fine with leaving her patients with outrageous bills their insurance will not cover. After weeks of fighting with the office, they agreed to write off the unauthorized tests and perform the originally requested tests free of charge. However, that was all for show as I see today that they have sent a bill to my insurance for the new tests. I was willing to give the office another chance and withhold negative reviews after the initial appointment because I really like Dr. Choudhry and it appeared the office was willing to correct their wrongs. However, I will not stand for being lied too and the shady billing practices of this office. I think every current patient and potential future patient should be aware of my experience so they do not have to go through the same trouble I have been going through. I highly encourage you to look elsewhere for obgyn care.

My experience here was not a bad one other than the fact that I felt like I was being slightly taken advantage of. I am 20 years old and look even younger so Im used to people thinking that I wont think twice about these things. The first time I noticed it was when I was told that during my glucose test I could have a 4D ultrasound done to pass the time but it would cost an extra $100 and insurance doesnt cover it. I thought nothing of it until I was sent to another doctor to have an ultrasound focusing on my babys heart and they did the 4D ultrasound for free and looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if they charged an extra fee. I recently moved and needed my records sent to my new doctor but I was to pay a $25 fee before they would be able to fax them over. When I have mentioned these two things to my new doctor and to others, they all think its out of the ordinary and weird. I was hesitant and never ended up paying these fees. Dont let them tack on unnecessary fees and if they try, question everything.
