This review is 2 fold Firstly, Bergen Vardell is the best I have ever been a patient of. She is incredibly kind, she listens to all of your concerns and answers the questions that come with those concerns exceptionally well making sure to be as thorough as you need. What I love most about the way she interacts with her patients is the time she takes. She graciously took extra time to converse with me last week before staying later than she had to, to switch out my IUD with a new one. Im kind of a big baby, so she made sure that I was fine with everything through the procedure, talking me through each step, when to breathe, etc. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. I have never been treated better at any OBGYN anywhere. Second, I have been a patient of Nurture for at least 4 years now, if not 5. Whether they have always been associated with Austin Regional Clinic or not, I know that earlier last week the official "merger," if you will, took place. I have always enjoyed being a patient here because it is exactly what it says, they are a boutique OBGYN office. I am hoping that with this merger nothing really changes. Personally, the doctors office often feels too "stiff" of an environment, and what is so great about Nurture is that it has always had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Its the little things like the flavored water, the cookies they make sure to have, comfy chairs to wait in, etc that make visiting this OBGYN office less stressful, daunting, and monotonous. This is so dumb, but it really is the little things. Theyve already replaced the soap in the bathroom with some foamy, typical-sterile-smelling-hospital soap which OBVIOUSLY is the silliest, most insignificant thing to comment on in regards to a doctors office and the way they conduct themselves; but again, its the little things and I really hope that they dont remodel Nurture any time soon changing it into a carbon copy, basic OBGYNs office

I want to say I liked this practice. I did, at first. Its a beautiful office. People were nice. Then, at my 20 week ultra sound, they couldnt get a good view of the babys heart. Come back next week. I do. I leave thinking everything is ok, I get a call later that Im being referred to an MFM because they saw a mass on my babys lung. When I see the MFM, the ultrasound clearly shows that theres a mass that has collapsed my babys left lung and shifted her heart to the center of her chest. Why wasnt this picked up at my 20 week ultrasound? I find that highly suspicious or incompetent. Next, due to this complication, the MFM had me change OBGYNs because the doctors at Nurture did not have privileges at St. Davids downtown where Id need to deliver so that my baby could have better NICU care. Fast foward, baby and I are both fine. I call Nurture to set up an annual well woman visit . . ..Im no longer a patient there. What?? Really? I only switched care doctors because I had a high risk pregnancy that they were not able to take care of. Receptionist says, well, Ill ask Dr. Campaigne if you can come back . .. I wait. I wait two weeks. I get an automated call saying time to schedule my annual. I call. Receptionist says, Oh, youre not a patient here any longer. . .I go through my story again, she says, let me talk to Dr. Campaigne and get back to you. A week later, she finally calls me and says, No, sorry, youll need to stay with that other OB we will not take you back. I didnt want the other OB as shes downtown . . . youre more convenient. Ive always been polite and friendly and kind. Ive paid all my bills on time. I dont call and bother people with questions....Im pretty much a model patient. So, I DO NOT recommend this practice. Now, I have to go searching for a new one....

Went in for a annual well woman exam May 2016 and had some concerns. She decided to do bloodwork since I asked, however was only a basic blood test (normal panels and non hormones), with TSH. I asked about weight loss since I cant seem to lose it and have intense cravings and her answer was go to Ideal Protein. Id never heard of Ideal Protein so looked it up when I got home - who would want to pay a company for pre-packaged products and such. Didnt seem to want to get to the root of the problem. Was very quick and didnt feel important, just another $. The office looked extremely nice though. Flash forward to 2017, and they keep harassing me with texts, emails, and calls to schedule another appointment. Apparently there was $4 unpaid on my account, so they have decided to call, and send several bills. They should write it off since the amount theyve spent on harassing me to schedule, and the stamps, envelopes, and mailers they have sent has cost way more than $4. I just want them to leave me alone. Save your time and go to Round Rock OBGYN. I finally found a Dr. who asks those questions in their questionnaire before your appointment, and wanted to check my hormones and such.

They did a consultation without seeing my file, they wanted to put me on medication, and do an induction right away. They were not prepared for us even though they got all the paper work two days before... when we started asking questions they totally avoided answering our questions... they just started talking about this and that without sense... when I told them that I was going to take madication only if it was 100% necesary... their actitude complete changed and told me that they want to take a better look at my file and then they were going to make their desicion and give a call... and they didnt even bother to call me as I was told... they called the lady who referred us to them... honestly thats BS... they want to make you beleave that they really care... but they dont...

At first I wanted to go to a birthing center and have midwives deliver my baby. But insurance would not accept that and would only allow me to have my baby in a hospital. So I changed to Nurture. They are the best of both worlds. They encourage the patient to give birth in whatever way is comfortable and respect birth plans to the T. I had an amazing experience with Dr. C and all of the staff were accommodating, helpful, and transitioning mid pregnancy to a new place was super easy. They answered all of my questions and more. Love this place!

I cant say enough amazing things about these gifted ladies. Actually the entire office staff is kind, helpful and supportive. I had a miscarriage with Nurture, and they were wonderful during the entire process. Also, 9 months ago I delivered my son with Nurture. What a beautiful experience it was. Leigh Ann is a rock star midwife. She is full of this amazing energy and she brings it when delivery your child. And sweet Lisa is so comforting and nurturing after I delivered, she checked on me a couple of times. I love these 2 ladies dearly!

Where to begin? Most phenomenal bedside manner Ive ever seen in healthcare professionals. More than ample time with us in appointments prior to delivery, vs. the 3 minutes allocated by doctors at quota-driven practices. They spent 3 hours with us during my wifes labor and delivery. And their entire approach focused on what she wanted, not what was convenient for them. Theyre rockstars in their field. Id have gladly paid 3x more than other OB/GYNs charge to have Lianne and Andrea delivery my child and care for my wife.
