This is the worst doctor I ever went to and you should know before you think about going to her. I had a bartholin cyst and a possible yeast 2 weeks before my annual. Dr. Anderson did my annual the year before and no problem. She comes into the room with the impression I had a baby. I never had a baby and she would know that if she looked a my chart for a minute before she came into the room. She called me "girlfriend" in a strange attempt at female bonding before the examination. Then looked at my cyst with an expression of cluelessness. Apparently she forgot what she studied in school. She didnt know what it was. She then told me I may need surgery. They tested me for a bacterial and yeast. I called the next week and they said I had nothing when I did have a yeast and they didnt read the results of the tests. Then I saw online about bartholins gland cysts and how other women cured them with apple cider vinegar. It worked in 2 days. I didnt need surgery. Then I came in for my annual and she said the cyst was still there. She said "at least if it doesnt bother you" It wasnt there anymore. She just didnt want to be wrong. She and her staff told me that I didnt have an infection but sometimes her patients have symptoms and she gives them an antibiotic anyway. They gave me my annual exam. She wanted to give me a pap test that had hpv test with it. I said I didnt want to be tested for stds. I was there to check for cancer. They insisted that it is recommended to do that test. The staff insisted that if I had an infection it would be ok anyway. Two days later they call me and tell me I have tested positive for hpv. I told them I had false-positives on other tests before and wanted a second opinion. One of their other doctors insisted I had hpv no matter if I had a yeast. I went to another doctor who identified there in the office I had a yeast. Then after I was treated I took another hpv/pap test and it came back negative and normal. This happens often with that test. Ladies, get checked for infections and then get retested. This practice that Allison Anderson is at has like 10 doctors and probably thousands of patients. I didnt know if they got my test results lost or mixed up with someone elses. That is not how ob/gyn practice should be. I go to a doctor now with 2 doctors and much less patients. They are respectful and give you the care you need. Dr. Allison Anderson said I needed surgery and that I had an std when both were untrue. I just had typical female types of problems that she should have studied about in school. I would have appreciated if she had more medical knowledge than her fake "girlfriend" bonding.

This review should have been written a long time ago. I got so busy with life but great doctors deserve recognition. I was living in San Antonio and got very sick. I suffered from ovarian cysts in the past the the pain was agonizing and I could not eat or even drink water. I went to the hospital several times and was send home with pain killers even though i had a fever of 104. I gave up and laid in my bed to die. Too weak to leave my bed. My sister drove from dallas to pick me up and bring me to our family house in Austin. I made an appointment with the doctor the next day. I managed to drive myself to The doctor where I was told that I was at the wrong location. I broke down in tears and begged if there was anybody that could see me. Dr. Anderson some how fit me into her busy schedule and greeted me with a smile and soothing voice. She checked me out fully and I never felt rushed or like I was a "walk in" patient. I told her I felt like I was dying and that is exactly what was going on. My body was shutting down. She quickly had me admitted into the hospital where I said for 2 weeks. I saw her sweet face every single morning. If she was on call or not she was directly involved in every part of my care. She found the perfect surgeon for me and even monitored my recovery at home. I am alive and well now working as a nurse to help others. I thank God for Dr.Anderson she saved my life and is truly a blessing!

This woman is hands down the most amazing doctor of all time. I would follow her anywhere. She has delivered both of my babies & was just amazing. She feels like one of my closest friends, not just a doctor. If you are questioning having her as your doctor DONT. I LOVE her, if you couldnt tell. :) Oh and my three year old still talks about her. My daughter went with me to every visit while I was pregnant with my son. Dr. Anderson incorporated her into the entire visit. She pushed the button to turn on the heart rate monitor and got to hold it on my tummy, and she looked forward to that every visit. My daughter even knew all of the nurses by name, thats how friendly and memorable they are. I also had a complication called cholestasis with both of my pregnancies. And it is easily dismiss-able by most doctors, as itching it the primary symptom which is also common during routine pregnancies. She did not take my condition or symptoms lightly and was sure to follow up weekly in my second pregnancy to make sure that we caught it early if it happened again. It did & she caught it.

I have never been so disgusted with a doctor in my life. I was told in order to see her I had to pay a deductible of over two grand to which my response was I havent even met or decided I will go with her yet. I want to meet her before deciding whether she will be the person I work with. Then I was told thats fine but they could only do a meet and greet. That they wouldnt give me a prenatal check up that I NEED and booked a month out because they were busy. They told me to meet her I would be charged 50 dollars for every 15 minutes she spent with me. If you want to work with someone only interested in taking your money ALLISON ANDERSON is perfect for you.

I saw Dr. Allison Anderson and holy moly she was truly amazing. She took an appointment that is typically unbearably awkward for me and made it comfortable and concise, while still taking the time to ask and answer a lot of questions. Her bedside manner is superb and everything comes with a smile. She has completely won me over as a patient... I will absolutely be seeing her again!

I adore Dr. Anderson. She is compassionate, listens, answers all questions & if she does not have an answer she will research. I will tell everyone that I can know, how kind and gracious she is!!! Her nurse was precious & I apologize for not getting her name. Dr. Anderson is my forever Dr. I will follow her anywhere. Thank you again Dr. Anderson
