This hospital is a joke. We took our cat in for a dental on the plan on Wednesday and by Friday his mouth smelled awful and was leaking pus from an infection. They charged us for two bottles of antibiotics and sent us home with only one. Went back to get the other bottle and they didnt have it so they charged us more to get a subsititue. Cats mouth isnt really improving, by the end of the next week, 10 days after our dental and Banfield, take it to another vet who diagnosis the cat with early stage 4 gum disease and all his teeth have to come out or the bacteria will start eating away at his jaw bone and the cat will suffer from body wide infections. It cost 2000!!!! He only had about 6 teeth left when we got him as a rescue. HOW DID THEY MISS THIS AT BANFIELD DURING HIS DENTAL? We pay for the plan, and are stuck with this plan, for negligent veterinary care. This stage of dental disease takes YEARS to form, not 10 days. The incompentency of this clinic astounds me that this wasnt addressed when he was under anesthesia there. They told us that two teeth were so rotten they just fell out. This was concerning because the shelter had given him a dental at arrival about a year ago and normally it takes time for teeth to rot out. Banfield didnt find this concerning at all, nor was it even addressed. Please please spend a little more and take your pets to a qualified and decent vet office.

Dr. Nelson is the BEST! We actually have to drive past another banfield to get to northville to see her but she is totally worth it. However, Lydia, the receptionist, is a total idiot. She told me my dog being sick was "unfortunate" in a snotty valley girl tone. We ended up having to put her to sleep that day and when we got there Lydia asked if we were taking her home...TWICE! I dont understand why she would ask if we were taking our poor dying dog home in the first place or why she felt the need to ask us a second time after already reminding her what we were there to do. Another incident with our other dog...I called because she ate some rock salt and threw up. Of course, Lydia answered when I was trying to find out if my dog would be okay. This women laughs at the situation. Wtf. I cant with this women. She is in the wrong business.

I took my dog to this Banfield for over 10 years of wonderful service. I couldn’t imagine taking my loved one to any other vet. They treated my dog like a family member. My dog always seemed happy to stay with the vet there and came back even happier. The cost of the services that I received is well worth it. My dog received excellent care at this facility for over ten years until old age took him from me. Even on the last day of my dog’s life the vet made sure to give my pet every comfort they could and stayed with me to make sure I was ok before leaving to go home. They even checked up on me the day to see how I was doing. I have my new family member going to Banfield, I could think of taking him anywhere else.

Techs and receptionist were very nice. The vet that we saw was ok, he wasnt very personable and I was trying to get a schedule of when I needed to do things for my new pup and he was saying things that were confusing and was not volunteering helpful info unless I specifically asked for it. They did give us our first visit free and treated our dog very well. Would go here again.

All the Banfields are independantly owned and I go to the one in Livonia, however this one is in my neighborhood! The owner is a jerk...very poor bedside manners (the staff will agree too)!

Great staff & very clean. Its a bit out of my way but i get better service. The vets are patient with me and all of my questions! AND I USUALLY HAVE A LOT OF THEM.
