I was driving down the street and saw the advertisment about dog baths and grooming. I live in the area and decided to go in and check them out. There was a strong odor in the building and they had a candle burning as if to cover the odor. I notice they were sellling the candles as well. It took the staff 17mintues to actually wait on me. They appeared to be understaffed because the receptionist was doing all the work by her self, she kept running back and forth and appeared to be very unhappy and I saw one Veternarian come out and talk to one of the pet owners. I overheard a few of the people in the lobby saying how terrible the service had gotten and they use to have great service and it was time to look for another Vet clinic. After hearing that conversation and the horrible smell I walked out and decided this would not be a place for my pets.

I really love this vet, but I gave them 4 stars only because there is usually a long wait time. However, the staff is fantastic. My dog is rather shy, but she took to the doctors and techs immediately. They are wonderful with her. They are very gentle and do an excellent job of explaining things. They probably need to hire more staff or handle their scheduling better, but I continue to go there anyway because I love the staff, and, to me, thats worth the wait. One reviewer said he noticed a bad smell in there, but Ive been there for several appointments and have never smelled a bad odor. The place is always extremely clean. They do usually have a candle burning and they do sell those candles - and they smell amazing. Weve purchased some. Pets have odors and candles help. Thats just a fact.

Our 4 1/2 year old dog, Dalilah, began having Grand Mal seizures two days ago. She has no prior history of these events. We called Garden City Veterinary yesterday and they were able to fit us in around the time we needed. Dr. Jan and Amy were sensitive to our concerns and began working on plan to help us (and our dog) get adjusted to this lifestyle change immediately. Dr. Jan even called us later in the evening just to check in and see how our dog was doing! We are very happy with Garden City Veterinary and feel extremely comfortable taking our pet there. For us they have been nothing but caring and dedicated professionals.

The vets and staff there are great. They really took the time to listened to all my concerns regarding my pet and treat according to my financial situation. they were not all about the money like other vets that I have gone to. My pet health was the priority, not how much money they were gonna make off me. I would recommend this place to any pet owner!!

on a saturday my pup was stung by a bee. she was in pain and swelled up. i called Garden City Veterinary Hospital and they were able to squeeze her in right away. everyone there was very helpful and kind. they didnt charge me any extra for the emergency visit. im so grateful for them!

Long wait times, the vet was very judge mental and talked down to me. I took my cat in for fleas and they tried to charge me $550, I left and went somewhere else, got the cat treated and taken care of for under $200. Dont waste your money go somewhere else.

I would highly recommend taking your animals here. This was my first visit and they were able to fit me in right away. The staff was very helpful and kind to me and my cat. Plan on coming back for other veterinary needs.
