Please, please do NOT take your pets here. Yes it is a low cost clinic, but at what cost?! I read the reviews and figured I would go check it out and make my own decision. I wish I would have heeded the warnings and not gone at all. My immediate impression was that it was not very clean and smelled. After expressing my concern about the reviews online, I was told they knew about them and they may had been from former employees, etc. (Im here to tell you my story and I am NOT a former employee, just a strongly concerned citizen!! I took my two dogs here to be spayed and Dr Amair (if thats even how you spell it). Was the doctor who initially did the surgery. The dogs were so doped up on anesthesia after surgery, they (the dogs) were just standing there and did not recognize us at all!! We got home and they would lay in their beds then suddenly just stand up and stare. It was extremely scary. I was sent home with amoxicillin, and one pain pill for each dog. The e-collars (cones) they gave them were so cheap, that even in her own cage, (they were both in separate cages) one dog managed to get hers off and get to her sutures. Needless to say, some of them were missing. So I took them back in, the next day and saw Dr Sani. He was magnificent. He, however, could not believe the surgery had been done there, thats how poorly the stitchings were done!! He re sutured them, gave me more, powerful antibiotics, a few more pain meds, and made sure most of the anesthetic was out of the dogs when we picked them up. At least their tails were wagging and they were happy to see us. They were much more alert. So after Dr Sani did the re suture, we kept our original appointment and went back to see them 10 days after the initial surgery, and 4 days after re suture. We had to see Dr Amair again, as Dr. Sani was not in the office. He came in the room and said "whats the matter with these dogs, you cant keep them calm, they are too rambunctious?" And I said "do you have a way to keep two six month old puppies calm?" And he chuckled. He looked at the sutures and said "its still too early, maybe Tuesday or Thursday of next week?" I said "ok". Then he said "Ill be right back". So we waited, he comes back in with a vet tech, a ziplock container (no joke) with iodine, there was gauze already in the iodine floating around, some tweezers and some other cutting device and asks to have one of the dogs put on the table. I picked one up, turned her over as she was obviously struggling, while myself & the vet tech held the dog down, he proceeded to try and pull the stitching out. The dog was squirming and moving, and he got the stitches out finally. Slopped the iodine on her and had me put her down. Then it was the other dogs turn and he used the SAME utensils he used on the other dog, using NO GLOVES, and pulled one stitch out and said "oh, these are not ready to come out yet!" I got that dog off the table, and the other dog was already bleeding!! So, its not like she was being "rambunctious". He has me put her back up on the table, he gets some purple "glue" as he called it, and some pink salve and puts it on the area and says "not you have to watch her closely". I stood there in shock! We walked out of the clinic, and I put the dogs in the car with my husband, and went back in to ask how to get iodine off my white shirt. The one vet tech got me a bottle of peroxide and I squirted it on there. Another vet tech asked if there was anything I needed and I said "I cant believe what just happened! That doctor does NOT need to be practicing veterinary medicine! He used a dirty iodine container, dirty utensils, and THATS why this place got ___ reviews on Yahoo and Yellow Pages!!" I also turned to a patron in the office and said "please dont get your dog fixed here, you will regret it!" I walked out as they tried to rush him into a room. ***There is more to this story but Google Reviews has a character limit***. Let me say this, at the end of it all, I was left with a dog in limbo because of them!!!

DO NOT bring your pets here. We brought our cat in for a urinary blockage problem. The doctor went through with his procedures without even getting our approval to do so. He sent us home with our cat with a catheter stitched in and told us that he would be able to control his urine. We had to keep him in the bathroom all night because he definitely could not control anything, got pee all over himself, and was really suffering the whole night until we were able to take him to a new vet the next day. On top of the flat out lies and lack of courtesy, the doctor prescribed a medicine that we later found out (from the new vet and several other sources) was determined to be HARMFUL to cats. The other vet office was absolutely shocked about the whole situation and couldnt believe that a harmful medicine was prescribed. Further, the doctor doesnt seem interested in the animals well being at all. I read other reviews on here saying that all they care about is money, and you absolutely get that feeling from the cold demeanor of the doctor. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this vet at all costs. I wouldnt bring our cats back here if it were the last vet on earth.
