Best vet ever. I live 2 hours away and will be always take my animals to her. She explains things thoroughly even if it isnt the best of news. She is available at all hours even though it closes at 6 she waited for us to come the first time i talked to her, we didnt get there until after 7. The compassion from this placeis the best we had been put through thr ringer with animal hospitals and they turned everything around. Though our dog passed they said theyvwould be there for us everybstep of the waybif that happened and thats exactly what they did. Dr ransom probably just as much as we did when he passed unexpectedly and she personally took him to where we got his ashes. I will forever be in debt to her for the experience we had with her, she is the best you might have long waits but especially if this is an emergency your furbaby will get the best treatment here.

I would give negative 5 stars because of the crappy service here. The Technician, Kim, was very very rude to me and my boyfriend when we came in to get our two cats declawed. The doctor said that their surgery would be done the next day. And here it is 6 days later, and I still dont have my cats. As of Friday (the 19th) they had had their surgery and they would need a night of recovery. It is now Sunday (the 21st) and we cannot get a hold of the vet via their office or her personal cell phone. I want my cats back, thats all I want and I cant go get them. If I cannot get them today, I have to wait until tomorrow so I can go in and raise hell about this, on Monday (the 22nd) they will have been there a week, just to get their front paws declawed. This is the crappiest Vet I have ever been to. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR PET!

The first time I went was to get medicine for my Springer Spaniels ears. I let them know that I just wanted them to examine him (which is what they required before giving me prescription for what I had been using for years on my Springers). I only needed the medication but after the examine, the bill came to $361.00. I was horrified. They put cleaner in his ears that I didnt approve of beforehand. They sent me home with products that I have never used. I now just called to get my dog in because he hasnt been feeling well and they couldnt fit him in. I would not suggest this place if you have an emergency. Its funny because they don t hesitate to send you an update that your dog hasnt been in for its check up.

My family and I have been taking our dogs to Dr. Ransom for years and she is incredible. If you treat your pet like family then Dr. Ransom is exactly what you want in a vet - she is down to earth, explains things well and is always available in case of an emergency. My wife and I have texted Dr. Ransom multiple times, on the weekend and odd-hours with emergency situations and she is always willing to drop everything and help. I will say that good things come to those who wait! And while Dr. Ransom may not be timely with her appts - if you go into your appt knowing you are probably going to have to wait then once your pet is seen you will realize why.

I have never been to a more caring Vet in my life and I am 73 years old! My 7 yr old cat was fine one minute and 30 min later was on her side and could not stand up. We had just moved to the area and hadnt established a Vet as of yet. I found this one on the Internet and called. They told me to bring her right in. They immediately took her from me and put us in another room. Within 5 min the Dr came in and she was wonderful! Took X-rays and she explained in DETAIL what the problem was. I have never had a Dr (human or animal) that went into that much detail before. This was The most caring place I have ever been in my life.

I was sold when I brought my Sharpei to them 7 years ago. Little story: My dog was a growler but thats it and every other vet would wrap his snout so tight with gauze it caused skin tears. Then they would attempt to tranquilize him.... When I found this vet- Dr. Ransom didnt wrap his snout of drug him up, she got right down in the floor with him and he didnt even growl at her, he just wagged his tail. Needless to say they saved him from heart worms and gave him some more time with me and have done so much more for my other pets. I currently take all my pets there and I highly recommend this vet!

This vet killed my dog. We took her there at least 4 times for problems with a leaking bladder or bloody discharge. After spending over a thousand dollars and trying several different medications we still had no answers. Every appt took a minimum of 4 hrs and a simple task of picking up medicine took one hour minimum. This wasnt the first time we took our dog in and came out with no answers. We finally switched vets only to find out she had a huge tumor growing on her bladder. I wish I would have never trusted this vet, if youre smart you wont either.

I love this vet. They were the only place to see me right away when my dog was sick. When we found out that she had parvo, they took action by helping me with the costs and getting her seen and on fluids right away. They were really great and my dog was very healthy when she came home. They even sent me pictures of her during her treatment. I take all my pets there now. They are amazing. Dr. Ransom is great and so is the support staff. 100%

Dr Randsom and Dr Fish are the best Vets anywhere, its worth the drive from anywhere to get the care and treatment and love from this office. I will never go anywhere else ever and we live 2 hours away. What you get from North Oak is caring, compassionate, loving treatment for your pets at prices that people can afford so they can to take care of their animals. Thank you North Oak Hospital forever Janna Hill Monroe, Michigan

3rd year in a row I took my dogs for their annual visit, waited 2 hours and 45 minutes, this time I left without seeing the vet. The wait is always because of an emergency or critical patient, story is old. My family and I will be taking our dogs elsewhere. Never heard an "I am sorry" or "thank you for waiting".... even after spending $540.

The doctors and assistants here really care about your pet. Weve been taking our 15 year old Jack Russell there for over a decade. Boarding for surgeries or just while youre out of town for a weekend is very reasonable. Just west of Baldwin on the North side of Clarkston Rd.

I LOVE these vets. They are FAN-TAS-TIC with the animals, getting right down on the floor with them and taking plenty of time with the dog, as well as the human to make sure that its the right diagnosis. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this clinic.
