I arrived at 7:30 for my 8:45 appt because I was not familiar with the area. The waiting room was clean and comfortable. The Receptionist was very pleasant. I want to thank Tammy for listening to me about how I need blood drawn from my hand. I requested Quiggles and she did explain that she didnt use it. We tried it and the draw back was the strip that attached Quiggles. It could be that it was on my hand so I just held it in place. It did help a bit taking my mind off the procedure with the vibration. Tammy was wonderful because she got my vein on the first try, she was professional and funny. I traveled there because of their reviews on this site and being closer to Winter Haven their reviews were not great so it was worth the trip. The only problem I could see was the clients were not putting their appt times on the sign in sheet so they were thought to be walk ins so remember to do that. Thank you to the staff at Quest! Just left there! I simply tried to ask the lady at the front desk if I could wait outside since the waiting room was packed and my stroller was in the walkway and the lady kept avoiding me she barked at me to sign in. Look here lady Im not trying to skip or get special treatment but everyone is tripping over my daughter and her stroller and the Dr sent me over without an appointment.(I understand its busy & youre busy) I just called the Dr and said absolutely not will I ever go to that location, that I will make an appointment for another location. The Dr office apologized but she shouldnt have to! I wasnt even an ounce rude I was trying to not be in the way and asked how long might it be so that I could wait outside and the lady gave me such an attitude! I dont need her negativity around my kids,bad enough theyre scared about the needles and bloodwork.
On 3/9/17 at 10 am, I visited this Davenport Quest location to have blood drawn. For nearly two hours I sat and watched the black receptionist (with the long hair) verbally abuse several people/patients that she spoke to. The really upsetting part was when an elderly disabled woman that was barely able to stand or walk was spoken to like a dog. This employee didnt show an ounce of respect for any man or woman that walked in. How can Quest allow their employees to show such behavior toward clients when their is a room full of people watching??? If this is how the elderly or disabled are being treated just upon walking in, imagine how they are treated during a blood draw. This is very disturbing and reminded me of seeing other nurses abuse their patients in nursing homes. Please do not send your loved ones here.
Waiting time is ridiculous, you better make an appointment or be preared to wait for ab hour to an hour and a half. There is no one at the front desk so if you have a question you will have to wait until someone comes out to call a patient. Im not even sure how many people are working here but judging by the waiting time and as many people I saw theres like two attendant. I imagine theres more from the conversations in the back but not really sure. Curiously, the elderly nurse is faster than the younger ones.
I found this Quest to be very efficient and professional. The staff is very friendy and they always greet me with a smile. If you make an appointment for during the day you will be in and out a lot faster. But like everywhere else you still have to wait a short time. In the very early morning hours just as they open. You can get in and out pretty quickly without an appointment. If you need to make an appointment you need to do it a few weeks in advance. You cant a few days in advance.
This company is terrible they should either go with appointments or walk in but never both. Winter Haven is a two hr.wait, Davenport any wear from one hour to an hour inhalf. Making an appointment on line is a complete mess and by phone forgetit you repeat yourself over and over again. Then try an make appointments in person well there not set up fer that. What Happen to Customer service With the medical field, Each day it gets worse.
I am a very difficult patient to draw blood from. I have been poked anywhere from 2 to 8 times; I would like to thank Nikki of her concern when I told her. She took her time and was able to get the vein the first time and I only felt a pinch. She was very professional . Also Quest Lab for keeping the appointment on time. The waiting room was full of people all from different cultures and the bay news 9 was playing on TV. Very loud, sad, depressing, and raging political news. Everyone in the room seemed uncomfortable, shaking their heads in disbelief. Not Quest diagnostics best idea... Other than that the ladies were super nice, very helpful and worked really hard to get you in fast...

Staff was great! The VRU system for each of those labs is the worst! Had a simple question and couldnt get thru to any of the labs. Had to drive all the way over to the Davenport location from ChampionsGate (20min) and ask my question face to face. As with all Medical facilities its getting very disconnected from the patients that pay so much for services.
I went twice for blood test , and still got refused by Migdalia , She belittled me by talking about by script had Doctor office name and address. She said it could have been for or from someone else. I requested her to call the Doctor office. She probably does not understand without customer, she would not have a job.

However, because its the only one and Davenport & Haines city share their services you can have a wait. Last time I was there I had my kids with me and they were packed. Half of the staff was really nice and friendly the other half was rather like sentinels looking everywhere but at the patients waiting for their turn.
AH YA KNOW IT WOULD BE A GREAT BIG HELP IF YOU WOULD PUT SOME WHERE ON ALL THESE SITES JUST WHAT YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION ARE. INSTEAD OF CLOSED NOW, DUH
Nasty people rude never again staff is rude and the phlebotomist is mean and rude they stick u where ever and they are rude nasty scum of the universe
