I just wanted to take some time out of my day to share what it was like to be a patient at Elite Health and Wellness. We had heard about this office through a friend of ours so we decided to check it out with my wife being pregnant and hearing about the benefits of chiropractic care. We were almost mid term when my wife started to have some complications with back pain and heard chiropractic care could minimize the pain. We had set up an appointment to come in for a consultation and to make a long story short, we had been on the same page as the doctor in charge of the practice. We agreed to be seen after the original evaluation and was given a "care plan" (which later on we found out that this is the only office that we have contacted, maybe 5-6 others that offer the same services in the area, that insist on a "care plan"). We were given an estimate of services for future visits and were told we could pay it in full, or pay it in parts and also told we couldnt pay as we go. We found that to be a strange thing, but went with it anyways. It was a large sum of money (approximately $1,600 to pay but we thought it best for our pregnancy it could definitely help, and Im sure it did in the long run). So now we are locked in and our money is in a "kitty" that we are allotted a certain amount of visits. We couldnt got anywhere else at this point as refunds werent allowed. We had worked out butts off the last 6-8 months with us working extra shifts to give up time with our family to pay for this. Our experience was fantastic at first. Everyone in the office was very nice, but who wouldnt be after getting that sum of money up front? Right? Appointments were on time. We would literally walk in the door on time for our appointment, and would be out after 15-20 minutes if you take away the small talk that we had. Months went on and as of a few months in we had heard acquaintances of ours had left the practice. They left because of basic HIPPA violations. Their story and information was being shared with other patients. So we started asking more questions. What we found out was very disturbing. Our daughter was born in mid-July. We stayed with the practice through all the changes and remodeling they did to the place (probably with all the money people had paid up front with, now we know better). Dr. Scotts demeanor has changed. He went from just wanting to have a small practice to having way more than they could handle (the practice meaning He, because he is the face of the company). He went from wanting to help all the kids and families to making sure they were adjusted weekly. For our family, that would equate to $90 per week with our insurance. 4 weeks equals $360 per month. Thats a car payment. Thats groceries for a family, thats a lot of things to a lot of people. I expressed with Dr. Scott my concerns over a phone call and he brushed it off and said he would try to find something to help us out. Either payments or whatever but at the end of the year its still going to equate to that $360/month which over a 12 month period is a heck of a big payment for the year. Who has nearly $4,000 per year to spend on chiropractic? We did some researching on our end of other chiropractic offices and shared our story with them. A lot were baffled at the experience we had. NO other office expects to pay for future services. NO other office has "care plans". Elite Health and Wellness is part of a group named EPIC pediatrics. Further research suggests that they recommend the chiro offices get the most up to date technology (scanners, etc. to make the experience feel like its super special, when any chiro can adjust without the equipment). This practice has turned into more of a cult than anything. We are very disappointed and disgusted with the second half of our experience. We will never go back to the practice. I hope more people open their eyes to what is going on here. I have a lot more to share, but it wont let me type anymore. Be well.

To say that this establishment has changed my life would be an understatement. However, to say that the people can change your childrens lives is a miracle. My 12 year old daughter started suffering from very debilitating migraines when she was five years old. She missed numerous days at school, had many trips to doctors offices and ERs, and noone could do anything to help her. She spent FIVE years in misery, nearly every single day. She started going to Elite just over a year ago. Dr. Scott found that her neck structure was significantly out of place and was likely causing her migraines. After ONE adjustment, Brynn had a headache free day. When your child hasnt had a headache free day in five years, this is a tear-worthy accomplishment. After one month of care, Brynn was able to start going longer times with no headaches. She currently RARELY ever gets a headache, and when she does it is very minimal. My 11 year old son also gets treated by Dr. Scott. Bret plays a TON of baseball and has a spot in his shoulders that get irritated by the throwing. Again, after just a few visits, Brets aches and pains had dissappeared. However, since it is an over-use issue, Bret does still gets aches. We just go in for an adjustment and he is back to normal. I really feel that any child that is heavily involved in sports should be under chiropractic care. My insurance does not cover this office, but we refuse to go anywhere else. If that doesnt say something about this practice, then I am not sure what else would.

Just be careful financially. Do not trust their “estimates”. I was under the impression, based on what they told me, and the estimates they gave me, that the first 12 visits were completely covered by my insurance. I was told if my max out of pocket was not yet met, the visits might cost me $70. I expressed multiple times that money was an issue for my family at this time. I was skeptical that they could help with my newborn, but I figured I’d give them a try for the first 12 visits and see how I felt. After all, what did I have to lose? Well, it ended up costing me $314, after my insurance paid out $1,000. They told us that it would take 36 visits to correct any issues and gave me an estimate for $1400. God only knows what that would have actually ended up costing! They also do not let you pay as you go. After the 12 visits, I stopped going to see if I continued to see improvement without therapy, and I did. All our problems resolved on their own between two and three months of age. Thats right when the 36 visits would have been completed. My baby sleeps and latches just fine. I do not feel that their services were even needed. I feel ripped off.
