I do not write many reviews, however, I feel that people who live in the area deserve to know what to expect and look out for before spending a couple hundred dollars on their next pair of glasses. I am not a picky customer but do expect to receive honest and transparent service whenever my earnings are spent on products or services in N. Dallas area. At all other times I shop online, where places like Amazon or eBay take outstanding care of their customers, making me want to come back and buy again. This review is about my experience at Vision Source on March 14, 2015. 1. Location - the office is located in SE corner of 75 and Stacy Rd by AT&T and Sprint retail locations. 2. Staff - very polite and professional. If you have insurance, first thing they will do is validate your coverage and go over allowances on frame, lenses and other options that may be covered by your insurance. If they do not, ask them to do so, to make sure you understand your insurances limitations. 3. Sale - all businesses push for higher sales and this place is no exception. Nevertheless, I felt like I was asked a little bit too often to get options and protection plans that would absolutely add no value to me. I am not an easy sell, neither should be you, so be prepared to say no if you feel pressured. 4. Pickup - that is where I have ran into problems, resulting in me giving this place a two star rating. I feel like I was given a shelf frame, one tried-on by dozens of customers instead of one out of the sealed box. The sales person told me the frame was new but to me it did not either feel or look new. At that moment I did not feel like getting into direct argument, so I just stood up and walked out of store. Feeling that one was lied to directly into face is not a feeling anyone should be having after bringing hundreds of dollars in sales for a piece of plastic.

So i went for a contacts fitting and eye exam. I mentioned specifically that i was getting contacts that day, and they still dilated my eyes before the fitting, making it impossible to tell whether the prescription was even correct in the first place( the doctor apologised and acknowledged it was a mistake; it turned out the prescription was wrong too). Two weeks later i come for a follow up; the doctor gave me a prescription that was supposed to be good for a year. Then at the counter when i told them i was only buying a 6 month supply because i currently couldnt afford the full year, they told me my prescription would only be valid for those 6 months because i wasnt buying a years supply from them. What??? I have never heard of a prescription being dependent on where you buy the lens from. Good doctors, incompetent assistants, horrible business. They also try to sell you extra stuff and add ons constantly, good luck. What Good is a business if theyre friendly but incompetent?

Best office! I dont know what place the last reviewer went to but it couldnt have been Vision Source in Fairview. I love the staff there. Ive been there several times because of an eye problem and every time I am treated like I am the only person there. The ladies working there are very caring and enjoy helping their patients. I see Dr. OHare and she is amazing. She always takes time to explain everything to me and is honest and dependable. She is the first eye doctor that has really taken care to solve my eye problems instead of just covering the issues and sending me on my way with contacts and glasses. She really does care about her clients. I would never go anywhere else.

This was my first time at Vision Source. I was impressed by the ladies in the office when I just popped in to ask if they took my insurance. They werent familiar with it and immediately called them and let me know that they would. So I booked my first appointment for the following week. When I arrived for the appointment, I was seen very promptly. The doctor was very thorough and explained things as she went along. I ordered glasses from them which they said should take up to 10 business days, however, that was only 2 days ago. I would recommend them.

It was my first time seeing Dr. Patrick for an eye exam. Dr. Patrick gave a detailed explanation throughout the exam and pleasantly answered all my questions. The entire staffs were courteous, efficient and very helpful. They assisted me patiently in trying on both glasses and colored contacts. Thanks to the friendly environment they created, I have had my most enjoyable and fun optometrist’s visit ever. The service they provide is GOLD in today’s world. After the visit, I know I will be coming back for my future exams as well as for my kids eye care.

Both my husband and I see Dr. Ohare, and we are so pleased in the professionalism and curtesy she extends to us each and every time. Each visit provides us a complete explanation and we know she cares about our eyes and the care they are getting. We have been with her for 3+ years and have recommended her twice. The office staff is over and above customer service. Even though Dr. Ohare is no longer in our insurance network, we still see her, and will continue to do so for many years to come! She is our favorite physician!

I have been visiting this office for the past 3 years for my routine eye exam and the doctors, staffs and their service are great. Office staffs are very good in setting up my appointment at convenient time. Dr. Patrick and her staffs really helped in understanding each and every procedures they do, and the necessity of those procedures. Dr. Patrick is excellent and very detail oriented, and she patiently answered all my questions related to vision.

I wouldnt send three blind mice to this office! The office staff is very rude, and unprofessional! I had a appointment scheduled, got lost, and called for better directions, and was told that I needed to reschedule because they didnt verify my insurance benefits in time. The manager didnt even care that I had used my gas and was circling around trying to find the place. Poor, poor, customer service!!!

Outstanding doctor and staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Patrick and her team of professionals. It is not everyday that you experience high quality service but here you do. From the time you enter the door until the time you leave, you are treated exceptionally well. Dr. Patrick and her team do a great job taking care of their patients!

My husband and I met for the first time with Dr. Jessica Kruse. We both really liked her. She was very friendly, competent and made our visit very comfortable. The staff has always been very helpful and pleasant to work with each time we have been to that office. We will continue to go to Vision Source and Dr. Kruse.

Excellent service, great experience, everyone is very friendly. The doctor switched me to a different brand of contacts which solved several big problems for me. I didnt even know I about the new available brands since Ive been using the same one for years. Very happy.
