Went in as was feeling pretty bad like I had the flu and had never been to this clinic before & the doctor I normally see had closed for the day. I went to this clinic and the nurse took me into the waiting room. After a few minutes, Dr. Salter came in the room and when he was looking at my nose, ears, etc, he got aggressively close to me and his private parts rubbed up against my knee. I felt this was intentional. I am a straight male and felt very uncomfortable and quickly shifted my knee away from his particular area. After he finished listening to my lungs, he started rubbing my back with his hand in a circular motion and had a little smile on his face; I felt he was attempting to make advances towards me and I shifted away from his hand. As I felt like I had flu and felt so bad, I did not say anything but wish I had. He said I had a virus and I had to just wait it out. He did not prescribe any medications. Three days later I was feeling terrible and went to see my regular doctor. He found that I had bronchitis and prescribed three medications for me. So much for Dr. Salters diagnosis. I think possibly he felt because I rebuffed his advances, he was not going to help me & was reason he did not prescribe any medications.

My family member was so out of breath that she could not speak. She was not offered a nebulizer or treatment at the office, but given a prescription for inhalers to fill at the pharmacy. She was so dizzy and out of breath trying to get to the pharmacy. When she saw her regular MD 2 days later, her lung capacity was still less than half of expected value - even after she was feeling better. Dangerous judgement in my opinion.

I visited the Inova Urgent Care Center in Purcellville today for treatment of a tick bite. I was seen very quickly and was impressed with Dr. Salters careful attention as I described my symptoms and concerns. I was feeling pretty stressed about Lyme disease, but he gave me all of the information that I needed and put me at ease. Lynn and Diane were awesome, too. I highly recommend this center if you need urgent care!

How the hell do you call yourself an urgent care and not have any urgent care staff in the building for an entire day? Unbelievable - and the best answer the front desk staff has is to drive 45 minutes to Dulles South. Additionally, you have about 10 phone numbers listed and not a one of them is right. Inova normally gets top marks from me but this is bad management and ridiculous.

There is no point in going there. The front desk and doctors are rude. They always tell you to go to the ER or go to a specialist. Before attempting to go there, take anything over the counter (because that is all they recommend) or go to the ER/look for a specialist. Otherwise be prepared to waste money on a co pay for nothing but an unpleasant afternoon

It appeared that the admission paperwork was more important that being seen by a nurse/doctor. It was a little difficult filling out two admission forms plus also signing several other forms while holding a towel to my bleeding scalp. Other than that, medical and support staff were very professional and personable.

This care is not urgent it took us 2 hours to be seen by the doctors and 4 people were seen before us that got here after us. I would rather go to a browns football game than come here again. Utterly ridiculous 10/10 would not recommend
