I received a call from the clinic saying they need to reschedule my sons appointment. On the day of the appointment I had to pick up my son from school and i knew I would be 5 minutes late so I called the clinic and asked them if I arrive 5 minutes late would my son be able to be seen? The nurse on the phone replied "yes come on in that would not be a problem." When we got there the nurse was very rude and said they would not be able to my son. All I said was that I called before hand and someone assured me he would be seen even if I was 5 minutes late. The nurse snapped at me and said no the dentist is very busy he cant. She did not ask to reschedule or anything. She want back to call the dentist out, Dr. Clark, came out and called me very rudely and said "youre harrasing my staff and I was infromed you were being rude with them. Dont create a scene here, you need to leave Im not seeing your son." He argued with me for 20 min leaving one of his patients inside on the chiar but he couldnt see MY son. He was dissrespectul and honestly, he was racist because we are Americans but have a different ethnicity. I have never met a Doctor so rude to his patients. Very unprofessional. Wasted my time and my sons school day, his gum is bleeding because of his bad tooth and hes only 7 years old.

This place is definitely a warehouse seeing over 80 patients today I was told by one of the employees behind the window and for what reason would you not be able to ask work and supervise your underage daughter or son to have services rendered very questionable similar places in other areas have been smacked with lawsuits because of employees and dentists restraining their children and having severe effects or harm that has come to those children without the parents knowing in advance if we were to leave our children unsupervised anywhere else someone would call CPS very questionable services if youre there for a basic extraction Services may be rendered if not dont waste your time sitting there they will refer you out to the three hours away wheres the commitment to customer service and customer services obviously not at this place!

The dental hygentist was very mean to my 4 yr old and used scare tactics to get her to cooperate including threatening to make me leave the room. After this "threat" my daughter cooperated and they found a cavity...one cavity so they say. Dentist "Amy" checked the hygentist work and agreed of the one cavity and referred us to the Pediatric dental center in Frederick. Her appt was today in Frederick. They found 3 additional obvious, rather large, cavities that apparently were missed by Healthy Smiles. I can only conclude Healthy Smiles is incompetent. Pedactric Dental Center of Frederick were amazing with my child. They never threatened her or scared her. As a matter of fact they treated her and myself like we were their only patient in the whole world...that is a great feeling. They offer balloons and popsicles and other prizes too.

My husband and I took our son to Healthy Smiles in 2011. We immediately left when they informed us that parents arent allowed to go back with their children. He was FOUR FLIPPING YEARS OLD!!! Theres no way possible Id EVER let my son be seen by any medical professional without me or his father present! Is that even legal for them to have that "policy"?! They need to be reported to the authorities for that. Any good parent would never allow ANY stranger to be alone with their child. They could literally do ANYTHING to children!! A thorough investigation needs to be done on this "dental office". For all we parents know, it could be a bunch of child molesters working there!! Keep your children FAR, FAR away from these people!!

I had an appointment scheduled for months... Person calls the day before to "remind" and tells me a time of an hour difference then what I thought so I thought I was wrong. I show up an am told I wont be seen because I was a no call no show and never got my procedure finished ended up losing my whole tooth and having to go somewhere else to clean up their mess. And yes they can be rude and act is if they dont make mistakes when they clearly do. Sadly they are the only affordable dentist for us and I need to be seen and my kids and they probably wont help me for their mistake and my kids cant get in until August, its April...

My wife tried to call and reschedule our daughters appointment and they wouldnt let her. They said she isnt on the list. I said she is the one who has been taking all the kids to their appointments that last 4 years. She is the one who makes all the decisions when it comes to their care. Since my wife was never added to a list, since we were married after kids started going there, and this new policy they have my wife can no longer make or change appointments. Hell she might not even be able to take the kids. Its getting really ridiculous that spouses cant take kids to the damn dentist or Doctors anymore.

I took my son to Healthy Smiles and we left after I found out their policy of not letting parents go in with their children! He was only 4! I would NEVER let my son be seen by a medical professional without me being in the room with him. Anything could happen in there from physical abuse to verbal abuse to even sexual abuse! They really are playing with fire with that policy! I will never EVER take my son there as long as thats their policy! Im surprised thats even legal!! (IF it is!)

The dental hygienist my daughter saw was amazing, she made the experience fun and successful. The one my son saw was awful and threatened him and was very rude to me and made him cry. I wish he had the other lady no one wants their kids to be afraid of going to the dentist. They also wouldnt fax records. I have 4 kids and dont live in Martinsburg that was very inconvenient. I might just keep the pediatric dentist in Winchester they referred me to for my daughters cavity.

Office staff was very rude. The office manger Barbara was very rude and very disrespectful. Turned my kids away as I am more knowledgeable than she was in the medical field as I have 2 AAS degrees in the medical field. They do not know what HIPAA is as told out loud in the office.

Love this place! Called because my jaw was swelling due to a broken/ infected tooth the had me in the office within 2 days. The tooth was out in under 5 minutes and the dentist had me all fixed up. The staff was really nice too. I recommend them to everyone I know.

My boyfriend and I made a point to be early for the emergency walkins today because we know how busy they get. It has now been almost three hours and they still havent taken us yet they have taken countless other people. So much for EMERGENCY walkins.

Cant say anything about the actual treatment. Scheduling was a hassle that included a rescheduled appointment on their part and a cancelled one that apparently was our fault because we didnt call back for a third time to confirm our appointment.
