After coming to the conclusion that after many year of being without....my life had become so disorganized that I needed to start back on my medication again. I made an appointment and was able to see Clarissa. Clarissa was absolutely excellent. Very attentive, genuinely concerned, listened patiently to my long, all over the place story and made sure I was comfortable. My issue is not with Clarissa at all. I understand she practices under a doctor, but I was told before I left my first appointment which was on a Monday that my prescription had been written, but due to the nature of it, the doctor needed to sign off on it..and theb it would be sent to my pharmacy...no problem. I was also told that i would have to do some testing....once again no problem. Monday, no prescription sent. Tuesday, after contacting the office numerous time to get an update on the delay, i was told that my prescription was on the doctors desk and she would sign off sometime that day. No prescription. It is now Wednesday, I went for my testing this morning at 9 am. I questioned the status of my prescription, I was told that the doctor just needed to verify my address and would be signing off on it shortly. It is now 3:44. I have contacted my pharmacy a total of 4 times, no prescription. I have contacted the office and was told that the doctor was signing off on 4 other peoples patients and that they had no clue when I would be ready and that i would just have to be patient. I have never experienced any type of delay like this with a prescription and If there was, I was always kept in the loop on updates for any delay. Due to the nature of this buisness and who and what they treat. I would expect some sort of urgency when it came to making sure a patient was able to function in their life. So I guess I will be waiting on day number 4 with a hope of geting back to normality. Update: Intresting enough, 20 mins after posting my review, my pharmacy was contacting me saying my prescription was ready for pickup. Thank you!

Doctors are great. The office is possibly the most incompetent crew I have ever dealt with. I tried their online refill service to get my sons prescription refilled. After the allotted 48 hours and no word, I called the office and finally got a human. The human said someone would call me right back. No one called after 3 days so I called and left a voice mail. No one responded to that either, so I called again and finally got someone that told me that my son needed an appointment before they could refill his prescription. Why did they not schedule one when we left the last appointment, or at least respond to let me know after the online refill request was left? I told them that my son was out of his medication and needed a refill today. They finally told me that they could do the refill and charged me a "rush" fee of $25.00. This was on November 2nd. I began with the online refill service, which they recommend by the way, on October 17th. What rush? Finally I got a call from the office that the prescription was ready so I went to my pharmacy to pick it up. The pharmacy told me it was still pending approval. I called Georgia Behavioral Health back, and was told that the prescription order was ready for me to pick up at their office in Stockbridge. I live approximately 1 hour away from their office so I had no time to get it. If the office had communicated at all from the time I sent the initial online request, all of this aggravation could have been avoided and my son would have his medicine. I have had minor issues in the past three years but chalked it up to them having a bad day. However, after this horrendous experience I have determined that I will no longer tolerate the incompetence and complete lack of concern on the part of the office staff.

Im so confused here I am calling for help for a loved one and the front desk was a turn off for me. I tried making an appointment for my family member she was extremely rude put me on hold without my knowledge and never booked the appt. I had to hang up call again only to find out it was a call center. Understand you never know what a person is going thru the last thing you want to do is reach out for help only to deal with someone who woke up on the wrong side of the bed, with the worst attitude, and answer your call when trying to book at a Behavioral Health facility. Puzzled maybe she should take a seat on the couch.

The front office lady told me (actually argued with me) that my disorder is curable. This is a conversation she initiated at the front desk infront of other people. I am pretty sure she broke some Hippa Laws. Fact is your unprofessional and WRONG. My condition is treatable not curable. Youre not a doctor nurse or medical professional. Also, if you need FMLA I mean need it to keep your job for your medical condition do not go here.

Thanks Dr. Patel for nothing July 2017, thanks for telling us to be neutral parents to our 14 yr old son that steals and told classmates that he want be around long and has ran away twice once naked. A not so nice term comes to mind when my husband and I discussed our meeting with you.

Sometimes its hard to reach out for help. When you do and you never receive a callback it suggests something about the level of caring (and care) you might receive. For a mental health facility, its unacceptable. Administration and customer service are crucial, not afterthoughts.
