I honestly dont know how no one has written a review on this place yet. It is without a doubt the worst medical office Ive ever been too. My appointment was for 2:30 p.m. I arrived a little after 2:00 to fill out paperwork. It was for a basic exam and cleaning, and to discuss a treatment plan from then on out. This was my first appointment with this office. I waited outside in the waiting room until I was called back at 2:40. The assistant did several x-rays, and was pleasant. After the x-rays, she put me in a small exam room where the end of the chair was facing the wall and inches away from the counter and side wall. To say it was crammed is an understatement. I sat in this exam room without a dentist or assistant coming in from 3:00 to 4:20. Almost an hour and a half without being seen or talked to. Finally, 2 hours past my appointment time, the dentist entered the room. She introduced herself and apologized for the wait. She turned her back to me while fussing on the computer and talking to her hygienist about how her work schedule was too full to get her kids to the doctor. While continuing to talk about her crammed schedule and how it was too much, she laid my chair back and began poking in my mouth. Besides continuously saying open wider, she didnt tell me what she was doing or say another word to me. When she finished, she stated I had a couple of cavities, needed to brush better (but didnt offer any useful tips), needed a nightgaurd for my teeth, braces, and walked out of the room. This all spanned about 5 minutes. The hygienist grabbed my file from the counter and said over her shoulder another person would be in to clean my teeth. I sat for another 20 minutes for the next assistant to come in at 4:40. She again laid my seat back, and began the most pathetic cleaning Ive ever had. She didnt floss my teeth, she didnt do the scaling. All she did was brush them for 4 to 5 minutes. When she finished, she said I was all done. She leaves the room, then comes back and says another girl will be back with my treatment plan. The treatment plan another girl presented me with stated I have three cavities. The fillings they wanted to do were special fillings that werent covered by my insurance and would cost me $100 out of pocket. The nightgaurd was an additional $250 they wanted me to pay, again because it wasnt something my insurance would cover. I was finally check out at 5:00. I was there for 3 hours, for 10 minutes worth of service.

My wife and I had appointments here yesterday. She arrived 10 minutes early for her appointment and still had to wait 45-1 hour before being called back. Once she was in the back she was waiting again and saw the dentist for less than 5 minutes. She didnt even have time to get a cleaning because she had to get our daughters from the babysitter. They said she could reschedule the cleaning, but then when she asked for the referral to have her wisdom teeth pulled the assistant said she didnt need to have a tooth pulled, but the dentist clearly said she did, while the assistant was in the room taking notes. She ended up leaving 2 hours after her appointment was supposed to start. Then I had an appointment later that same day. I was in the waiting room for over an hour and after I noticed people who came in much later than me got called back I asked what was going on and then they took me back to a room that was dirty and clearly not used for patients just to have me sit in a chair and make me feel like I made progress. When the tech came to get me I asked how long Id have to wait for the dentist and she said at least 30 minutes. I told her I was leaving and wanted to cancel my appointment. No one really seemed surprised or even that they cared. Horrible customer service and very unprofessional. We will never go here again, I honestly dont know how they stay in business. I feel sorry for the people at the front desk.

I am giving 2 stars because the DENTAL staff was great! They did a really good job with our children, provided courteous service, and are the only reason I would even consider returning. Now, the OFFICE staff is a different story. We arrived 15 minutes EARLY for our appointments. They had called the day before to tell us that our insurance was not valid, and asked for our Cigna information. I gave them the Cigna information, but Cigna is our medical not dental provider. We finally worked all of that out in the office, and I would have chalked it all up to a misunderstanding/miscommunication, but then I overheard the (person who appeared to be the) office manager telling the staff to purposely make us wait longer because we gave them the wrong information (you know, the info they asked for). Like, to punish us??? Our kids ended up being seen 90 MINUTES AFTER their appointment time, which was 105 minutes after we arrived. My kids are 5 and 2, and this was during dinner time, so you can imagine how well that went over. The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, and make me want to never return. My hope is that there will be a new office staff there in 6 months, and that our kids can go see those great dentists/hygienists again.

I wouldnt even give this place one star of it was on option. My teeth are in pretty bad shape due to a degenerating illness, I have already been told by a specialist who I have been seeing for years that my illness will take my teeth that there is no point in trying to save them. I went in to see dr Atkinson. I started the conversation with I need dentures I know thats what I need, and thats all my insurance will cover, anything that the insurance will not cover I am not doing. I cant afford it. So he looks at my X-rays and determines that he thinks my teeth can be saved because as of right now I have decent bone structure, and named off of 1000 dollars worth of dental work he wanted to do with my teeth that my insurance doesnt cover. I said no sir, Ive already been told by my specialist my teeth are not savable that I need dentures and thats what needs to happen. Long story short he argued the point with me. Do yourself a favor and dont bother coming here unless you want to leave disappointed and still in pain because it seems as though its only about lining the pocket of the provider rather than the actual care for the patient.

This office has the worst communication. The front office staff is not friendly at all, they do not try to please the customer never call you back when they say they will, tells you one thing over the phone and it is totally different when you get in the office. The assistance nurses to the doctors are very rude and dont speak very good English so it makes it hard to understand what they are trying to tell you. The only 2 doctors I have seen is Dr. Edwards and Dr. Atkinson and they are both awesome they are great with my kids and went above and beyond to make sure they had the best experience with having teeth pulled I would recommend them to anyone hands down!!! The only reason I bring my kids to this dentist is because of the doctors. From my conservation with Dr. Edwards they are working on getting this office together so hang in there :)
