I was pretty disappointed with the level of expertise offered here. I visited Riverview Smiles, becasue I had a large sore in my mouth and my pcm suggested to have a dentist check it out. When I arrived the office was beautiful, and the women at the front desk were very kind and helpful. In fact, all of the staff members were very kind. The young female dentist came in and said it just looked like a canker sore, and it should clear up in a few days. She offered a full screening in a few months AFTER I delivered my baby, as I was 8 months pregnant. The next day I get a phone call from that dentist and she said that she had made a mistske, and after thinking about it, she knew my sore was herpes. WTF?? I have never even had so much as a cold sore in my life, and now youre telling me that at 8 months pregnant and married, I somehow contracted HERPES!! I told her this and her response was that it was probably the first outbreak. Freaking out, I called my pcm again and had the antibody test done. The test came back that I did NOT have the antibodies in my system, therefore could not have Herpes. Furthermore, my dr. Told me that the initial herpes outbreak is the worst, especially in women and immune deprived individuals, such as pregnant women, so if I had herpes, I would definitely know. I am disappointed that this dentist was not educated or informed enough about mouth sores and the herpes virus. I am also disappointed in her wreckless choice to diagnose a pregnant woman with something that could have been life altering. She made me question my marriage, and unnecessarily scared me into believing I had a life-long virus. That is simply irresponsible as a healthcare professional.

Do have to say its a very nice office i got an appointment fairy quick if you have state insurance dont go here. I used a special new patient coupon got an emergency exam got an extraction (wrong tooth) for 100 bucks out of pocket less expensive then i thought. The nurse goes thru the paper work super fast. Staff is sorta backed up with paperwork. They are nice pleasant and respectful.the doctor reassures you several times. Got so nervious it upset my stomach. I wanted to book another appointment for the next extraction the office wants to triple the 100 for an exam and an xray and not guarantee same day extraction. What? Wait? No thank you. Then the rep preceeded to tell me the dentist gave me a discount just This once. Kinda rude yea? This dentist isnt net worked with anybody. Unless you have a super emergancy or eatting otc meds like candy its best to stay in your insurance coverage. Then after your visit they want you to schedule a follow up just as a pricey then they want you to fill out their credit card program for financing yea no thank you. I read the rates its almost 30% intrest if you cant pay ur bills on time. Im somewhat pain free for now. Watch it folks these "new patient deals" they will bite you in the ass!$

Beautiful Nails Forever

The dentist did three fill in at the time as I request. Shes beyond great and profesional! Very gentle and kind. The assistant as well. They gave me a glasses to protect my eyes. My second best experience with a dentist. I move to this area from Tampa and had to change dentist. I try them last year doing a cleaning first and it was great. My second cleaning as well. Today the fill in job was great as well. I do not regret. Fully recomended!
