Our regular dentist said our 8 year old needed a cavity filled but he wasnt comfortable doing more than just cleaning for kids her age. Our insurance was very limited as to who accepted it, thus we took her (and changed the entire family) to Great expressions. Took my 8 year old in only 4 weeks after she saw our regular dentist. One cavity turned into four, plus they said she needed three baby teeth extracted. I was surprised over the changes in only a month and asked about them, they said, "your normal dentist must have missed them". Had the work done for about 2500 I was given a quote of $350 first, but was then given a second quote because, "we are considered a specialty clinic," which I meant the cost was higher Took our two girls there five months later (after perfect check ups at our old dentist six months before). They said my older daughter had four cavities and my other eight year old (they are fraternal twins) needed three fillings, two extractions, and a spacer put in - costing us several thousand dollars out if pocket. We moved soon after and when we took them to the new dentist for their cleaning and check up we were told there was nothing wrong with their teeth. No cavities. No extractions needed. I told the dentist what great expressions told us and how guilty I had felt because I hadnt had the repairs done yet, he showed me the X-ray, and even took a couple more to be sure, both showed nothing wrong with their teeth. :(. Betting my other eight year old (the first one that I paid several thousand dollars for the fillings and extractions already) didnt need that work done. And - when they did remove the baby teeth for the first twin and we asked if we could have them for the tooth fairy the refused to give them to us. "They are diseased, you cant take them." You may be wondering why I gave two stars, mostly because when I went to have my own cleaning I had Alma as my hygienist, AMAZING! She alone would be a full five stars. Friendly, knowledgable, wonderful hygienist.

horrible will never ever go back!!!! I went to go see the oral surgeon. They told me I needed a referral from my dentist my dentist sent over the referral through fax. When I got there they told me they didnt have the fax, so I had to reschedule my appointment. I called my dentist they resent the fax went ahead and called to make sure they got the fax of course "they didnt get it" basically after three times calling back and forth they got the fax went back next week for my appointment sat in the waiting room 45 minutes finally went to the back just for the oral surgeon to ask me if I had a lot medical release from my OB ( am 8 months pregnant) I said no I wasnt told I needed one, when I made the appointment I told the girl I was pregnant why didnt she tell me I needed one. I ask the surgeon why do I need one for just a consultation. She told me it was their policy I said I understand that but you just looking at my mouth youre not doing anything. she refused to give me a consultation without the referral so I left. it just made me mad the girl at the desk scene I was clearly pregnant I even told them I was pregnant so why didnt they tell me I need a medical release.

As with many other Great Expressions locations they tend to overbook. So instead of being seen at 2:00pm like it said on my appointment card it took them 45 minutes to see me. Dr. Mossak has an ok disposition and made sure I wasnt in pain. Other than than making sure I wasnt in pain he was in and out and barely spoke with me. His main assistant while knowledgeable wasnt so pleasant. She sternly refused to give me my wisdom teeth after the extraction. Theyre my teeth and Id figured I could keep them as a keepsake of the experience but no. (If the same happens to you, insist on getting them, there are no laws against it). The second assistant, Isaiah (one of the few that has given them a 5 star review on this page ) is probably the only person with good beside manner there. It just seems as if these people are in it for the paycheck and are jetting for the door when its time to go. Im glad Im almost done with all of my dental repairs so that I dont have to deal with dentists again. If you can find a good private or family practice then I would advice you to go that route instead.

DO NOT GO HERE! I went to have my wisdom teeth removed and thought I had paid my portion of the bill in full after insurance, however, a year later I received a bill saying I owe $432. When I investigated it I learned they did not get proper authorization from my insurance company and didnt even bill them until 5 months after my procedure. I am still fighting the bill because I do not feel I should have to pay them for their mistake in billing (or in this case not billing) the insurance company. Another complaint I have is when I took my daughter for a filing. It was her first cavity and she was 7. They made us wait in the waiting room for an hour before anyone greeted us in any kind of way only to be told that they had scheduled her wrong (for a cleaning instead of a filing) but would try to squeeze us in. We had to wait another hour and a half before being seen. I wouldnt want to wait for a ride at Disney for that long yet alone at a dentist office, but sadly we did. I couldnt even tell you the name of the doctor that saw my daughter.

The WORST dentist office Ive ever been to!! I took my 8 year old to see the pediatric dentist Jafarnia. I should have known when they wouldnt let a parent go back with him, that it would be bad. Anyway, they put him in a room next to a child having a tooth pulled. He said the child was crying the whole time and screamed too. Then at the end of the visit, the dentist said he would have to see another dentist to do his work because "He is too scared." Then the dentist had the audacity to say it didnt happen, but I saw the screaming crying child walk out with a bloody thing in his mouth and he had definitely been crying!! To add insult to injury, when I tried to get the Xrays for his new appointment with another dentist; they refused to give me his Xrays without a $25 fee. So now my insurance has to pay for the Xrays a 2nd time and my son is stuck with more dental appointments!!! I wouldnt take my dog to get treatment here, honestly.

STAY AWAY! This is the WORST dentist I have ever been to. My daughter did not even get seen until an hour and 15 minutes past her appointment time. People who came in after us were seen before us, and when I asked the receptionist about this, she was very short and rude with me. Then, when we were finally called back, I was told that because my daughter is 4, she had to go by herself and that I was not allowed to accompany her. My child is only 4 and she is shy and was nervous to go by herself, so she was crying and asking me why I couldnt go with her. The dental assistant was rude so I asked to speak to the manager, who finally agreed that I could walk back with her but not stay with her. My daughter was being cooperative until they told me I had to walk away...but we had already wasted an hour and a half here. Overall very bad experience, I left frustrated and angry with these people. Go somewhere else you will be glad you did.
