I had back surgery 2 weeks ago. When I walked into vision works, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I have a cane, so its clear that theres an issue. The woman at the front desk was on a call, she finished that and then, while I was standing there, took the next call. Im not usually one to complain, but clearly I shouldnt be standing...My appointment went spectacular, pre test was quick and they worked with my limitations. Dr. Woodey I believe did the test, and she was amazing. Once I got out I was told a table was mine. I checked in with an employee and we even went over insurance details with my paperwork open on the table. While Im hobbling around, within approx -10 minutes, I find a pair of glasses. At that point I turn around to see that the woman has sat another person at the table, my paperwork still out, and Im then asked to wait until shes finished. I have to ask for one of the seats at the table, wasnt even offered. Its a shame the front staff is completely oblivious and unorganized, or else this would have been a great experience. Update: finally got seen after having to wait 15-20 min. Woman sat down and I asked what lens options were covered by my insurance. She had no clue, took her forever. Then I asked if she could please explain the difference in the lenses and she handed me a pamphlet. Front staff is completely inept. Its absurd.

Monday night after my eye appointment I went to Vision Works and purchased two pairs of glasses and a pair of sunglasses( I broke my others). Since I have a prism they told me it would take 10 days to get the glasses in. This morning I call up there to see if any were in, hopeful that maybe just maybe. The lady told me my sunglasses were. So Im thinking ok, I guess Ill just have to rock shades until the others come in. I walked into Vision Works at Waugh Chapel to pick up my sunglasses, baby when I tell you when the lady walked out with all three pairs of my glasses I couldve kissed her. After the week I had, Lord knows I needed some good news. If you only knew the stuff I was going through to get my glasses to stay on my face lol… God is good!!! Shawn helped me she rocks!!

Two years ago, had a great experience, this time around, really poor service. Had to come back because the wait was going to be two hours from my appt. Time. I was told all.l my information from the first part of my visit would not be repeated. It was repeated because they could no longer locate the documents plus I still have to wait, a little over 30 minutes this time past appt time. I am a little disappointed, given the long wait time yesterday that they would not try harder at providing excellent service today. If I didnt need to order more contacts, I would schedule my appt elsewhere. I know this for next time. Businesses cant continue to provide poor service with the expectation that you will continue to come back. I plan on ordering my contacts elsewhere.

Giving a 3 star for the optometrist, but the rest of my experience is horrible. They called the wrong insurance company, supervisor stopped acknowledging when I told him that my insurance company was not out of network. I had to call my insurance company and have them explain. He than had me pick out my glasses and I still had to sit around and wait while he "ironed out" the details which took another hour. The whole time blaming the insurance company instead of admitting fault. Then never received a call about my glasses being finished and I called twice to check on them. Horrible horrible customer service. This will be my last visit there.

Worst trip. I had to wait more than an hour before my appointment. An individual working there blamed me for being 15 minutes late (while it was really 10 minutes late). Bogus, I was the last patient so there was no way they took a patient before me. They were running late themselves, and put the blame on the customer. The only positive experience was the eye dr being super friendly and helpful. At the end when I was going to cover their sins at the end with the good eye dr, I asked them if they could adjust my glasses, and they ended up cracking my frames. The staffing there is the worst.

Stopped in for a check into why my frames were bothering me. Come to find out, I was having a reaction to the decorative chrome cap at the end of the temple. Sandy knew exactly what the issue was, and offered to put me into new frames. Thinking I would just be getting a new set of the ones I had, I was happily surprised that I was given new frames of my choice, AND new lenses for the new frames. What a terrific experience! My wife is headed there next, for her new glasses! Thanks, Sandy!

Ive never had a better experience at an eye doctor than at vision works in Crofton. What is usually a very stressful process was care free. I stopped in just to make an eye exam appointment and ended up with my eye exam finished and new pair of glasses purchased within an hour! Such great selection of frames and wonderful costumer service. Thank you vision works I cant wait to pick up my new frames next week!

The worst service EVER!? 30 minutes late for an appointment and now weve been sitting here for over 15 minutes!? With the manager chatting it up with God and Country, instead shutting up and getting customers checked out.
