Although they can be good at their work but they have the worst customer service. I have been a patient over 25 years seeing Dr. Malouf Sr great man indeed until his son took over. I had the worst experience today. I confided that I dont have money to pay their copay and asked to be billed. They refused to see my son for his 7:50am appt. I then told them that I had lost my job which I knew isnt their problem. I only mentioned it so that they would understand why I couldnt come up with the co-pay immediately. They responded so loudly that all patients sitting in the waiting area heard our conversation. I was of course embarrassed. I then told them to go ahead and attend to my son and that I will call them later today to make the payment; they again said no. I was really surprised because I have always paid my copay each time before this visit of a family of 6. I got upset and starting getting emotional after I called my brother on the phone to help me out. My son then got attended to. When I tried to address this with Malouf JR...before I could my whole sentence out he basically told me that he heard and the fact is that I should have come with my copay and that he knows I want to have the last word. I was extremely shocked by his statement, pulled back, and then told him never mind. During checkout, I informed the lady that I needed to cancel my own appointment for the next day, just because of the way I was treated with less significance and disrespect. I swore never to go back there again. The technician that attended to my son was extremely nice and warming. I was making over 100k per annum and lost my job to care for a sick family member. And I got insulted and lectured like I am inferior and stupid. My husband have always complained about their rudeness but we try to overlook that because we are so loyal to the core. I feel happy now that weve just secured a better and friendly Opthamologist close to home. It is a good thing that I have a good spirit because I did not go off terribly on them. I really tried to keep it professional regardless. God is good!!! My only consolation is that theyve lost 6 customers in a day over an this immaterial amount of $40 co-pay. Ive blessed people with that amount and more with and without a job. I was actually waiting for funds to clear first. I can never treat a poor person or anyone the way I was treated today. My son knew I was deeply hurt...first time for everything I guess.

A couple weeks ago I developed a huge translucent floater cloud in my left eye. I was concerned but thought maybe it would go away after a bit of time. It didnt; so I called my eye Dr. on Tues. and he fit me in at 1 PM the next day, yesterday to take a look. He said it was an unusual floater but not a major concern. His major concern was a tear in my retina and he was glad I called; it could have become a major problem. He did a Laser suture around the horseshoe tear and I was in and out in about 2 hours. Dr. Alan Malouf in Bowie is the best! I was able to drive myself home after the surgery. Five star service for sure! *****

They best group off office people I have met work with u any way need. Happy professionals makes u walk in and out of office happy. Eye doctor is no different. Would recommend to everyone and anyone. Wish they were a regular doctor Office had to see more often. Amazing work place people and experience.
