I was referred to Peepers as a practice that could help me wear contacts when I previously could not. The doctor prescribed me the contacts, then the doctor and staff did a hard sale of a years supply of lenses. I was reluctant to do this, but they assured me that if there was a problem I could return the lenses. When I later decided they werent comfortable enough, they told me that I could not get a refund of the $600 plus dollars I paid for them, only an "even exchange." Since wearing contacts at all is an issue for me, an even exchange was not helpful. I really needed the actual money back, as I had run out of money in my previous flex spending plan to pay medical bills due to spending so much money on the contacts. I promised them a lot of business if they would be willing to honor their promise, but they would not. My daughter wearing contacts for the first time was having difficulty finding a good fit. After two trials, she wanted to try another one. I was told we would have to pay another $80 to do any more trials. I am very disappointed at their business practices, a combination of hard sell and misleading me, and am going to another eye care place in the future. This is the Peepers in Bowie. Not sure about Crofton.

I went to Peepers to get a new prescription for my contacts and glasses. I was a brand new customer and had never been to this location before. When I walked in I was greeted and taken care of in a timely manner. Everyone was friendly and had excellent customer service skills. I love this place! I dont think Ill ever go to another location for optometry needs. I recommend this to anyone who wants a fast and pleasant experience!

Dr Gray and the staff at the Bowie Peepers are awesome to work with. Dr. Gray is amazing, he makes you feel at ease and is very efficient with eye exams. He has helped our family out in an emergency on a Saturday when we were our wits end finding no one willing to see us. We have been with this peepers location for several years and have always received top notch service.

My last 3 pair of glasses have come from this place. The doctor was a nice guy, and was quick and accurate with the prescription. The salespeople are really good at helping you out but also giving you time to look on your own if you want to do that.
