My complaint is not with the therapist, they are professional and outstanding. My grievance is with their Billing department I suppose. Ive been bringing my child there for speech classes since January and paying my insurance co-pay each week. Now, through my insurance were allowed for example,20 sessions. and then Beth Ingram will have to notify my provider to get approval for another series of sessions, which has been done several times since January till now July with no problems.Well,we just received a call from Beth Ingram stating that we could no longer bring our child in for therapy unless we pay cash, due to the fact that they have not received a single payment from our insurance company this year yet.And that we will be on the hook for the unpaid balance that the insurance hadnt paid.when youre not getting paid for a service, at what point do you contact the customer. As a business owner myself, I would never let one of my customers get that far out. After several visits without payment from the insurance company,I would of immediately been on the phone advising the customer of the issue. The sad part is,that they knew the insurance wasnt going to pay, due to a medical coding discrepancy, but continued to submit claims to them without contacting me for seven months,The real irony is,that even when my series of visit were exhausted, I would continue to get approval for additional visits from them through my insurance. Now,how does that happen? Considering the fact, that you have not been paid by the insurance for any of them yet? Well, evidently, there are two different departments that do not communicate to each other. So all along,we have one department that knows that they have not been paid for months from the insurers insurance company and continues to let the balance build up,and then there is another, that continues to seek approval for additional sessions not knowing that there are massive arrears already built up.Im mostly pissed, because when I asked why know one from Beth Ingram notified me months earlier about the payment issues, Their response was, that they thought the insurance company would of contacted me. As their immediate customer, I would think that its their responsibility to notify their customer when payments through their insurance were not getting paid, and in a more timely manor, not 7 months later.

For children with mental disabilities I dont recommend. Having experience with other facilities prior this one by far was the worse, and the only one I can say that hasnt been good. Before I terminated services I tried to stick it out with the facility after changing schedules do to some of the therapist being late or no shows for the A.M. appointments, which the sessions were only 30 minutes. During the evening sessions it just seemed as the therapist just didnt have the technique or strategy, dealing with a child with high functioning autism. It was a waste of time, nothing would get accomplished, as there was no structure at all, it was like a free for all and play time each session. Im not saying the therapist are bad individuals. But again compared to previous experience this place wasnt good, from what Ive seen I wouldnt recommend for children with disabilities, especially dealing with speech, but from what Ive seen it may be good for ESOL.

This organization/company is a scam for american kids who really have a disability. The lakeland office caters to the hispanic families to teach their children english as a second language, which is not a disability! Meanwhile black kids who really need speech therapy are denied services. The lakeland office has more hispanic children that receives services than any other ethnic group. If spanish is their first language then how are they having speech therapy to learn english as a second language! Again this business is a scam and the american kids who really need speech therapy shouldnt be denied services just so they can bring more hispanic children in to teach english. My daughter is 3 (black) and she was denied services (which she really need speech therapy) meanwhile the front lobby was filled with hispanic children! Scam!
