I bought a Groupon for this place a few months ago for an hour massage and chiropractic evaluation with X-rays (I was really only interested in the discounted massage). I would have been better off just saving my money all together. First, the clinic does NOT have a professional air to it- its just a slightly remodelled house. Dr Byers took X-rays and "evaluated" me, but I didnt get a good feeling about the guy at all, and he was totally pressuring me to come back the next day to look at my X-rays (which I couldnt view that day) and get adjusted. THEN, I got my massage, which was the. worst. massage. EVER. The kind that is so unsatisfying, you feel you would have been better off just not having done it in the first place, ya know? It felt like getting rubbed by a five year old or something- I really wonder where that girl got certified! As if all that wasnt enough and didnt leave me with a bad enough vibe, last month I decided to go to a chiro that is more in my neighborhood, and I had them request my X-rays from Byers so I wouldnt have to pay for another set. First, they told this office they had no X-rays on file for me. Then, when I called to raise hell with them, well what do you know! They found them! So they mailed them over to the other office, and when my doc put them up on the viewer, they were almost TOTALLY DARK. You could barely make out the outline of my skull, nevermind anything else. SOOOO sketchy. Really glad I decided never to go back to that place! I recommend you dont go either.

I received a Groupon certificate from my husband for Mothers Day since I have been working so much and have had a lot of back pain. The message therapist asked where my pain was which is like most people my neck and back. So I guess that meant not working on my lower body at all. The massage on my upper body was much too light to be therapeutic and I did mention that I would like more pressure which did not change even after I asked. Although the massage was not good I would have still tipped but when I looked at the clock I realized my massage was only 45 minutes and not 60 minutes. The massage began at 310pm and ended at 355pm. I then went in for my evaluation and adjustment which was also included. The evaluation consisted of the Dr. asking where my pain was and if I had ever been adjusted. My adjustment was a few pops and a handshake a total of 5 minutes for both evaluation and adjustment. I have been to chiropractic appointments for years and have always received a much more in depth evaluation along with a plan for treatment. Im not sure if they just saw I had a Groupon and decided I was not worth the time or effort but I was extremely disappointed since I never take the time out to take care of myself and relax. Its difficult to find the time with two young children and a full time job. My husband also has a personal training business and was looking for someone to refer his clientele to. Unfortunately this will not be the place.

I got diagnosed with trapezius muscle pull last year may 16 2013,got sent to a us healthworks clinic by my employer, spent 6weeks going to two of the said clinic twice a week,15mins therapy and a painful chiro adjustments on my neck.only when i started complaining not having to feel any improvements on my pain level that made them recommend an MRI which showed a herniated disc on my neck(c6-c7).the dr requested a cortisone shot which i took a week after my MRI result.and after i had the shot,i transfered to dr. Bryer because i didnt wanna go back to my previous clinic.dr. Byers immediately helped me out,did all the paper works for me, We fought until the transfer was granted by sedgwick. Dr. Byers and i went to work and just after a short question and answer about my pain level, went to a massage therapy and adjusments on my upper back and neck.almost immediately,my range of motion improved a lot! my pain level decreased, overall functionality was a lot better. And until now im still being attended by dr. Byers doing adjustments twice a month.as of now,im pretty close to being 100% healthy. And will keep going back to this clinic because i know they will help me maintain my health to be as competetive as i can be.

-------- I came in here for a car accident. I wanted a massage at first but after seeing the doctor, I knew I needed to get adjusted. They have many massage therapists and they all are great. I would recommend Byers Chiropractic and Massage to anyone who has been in a car accident.

The beautiful thing about this relatively small practice is that they make conversation easy, relatable, and understandable when it comes to treatment and why it is that the kink in your neck is making your elbow hurt. My experience with Dr. Byers and his practice has been quite the positive experience considering the negative backlash that can come from seeing a chiropractor. There has been nothing but transparency and willingness to see me (and my spine) in a better place. His website, although a bit outdated, has a personal touch and shows how about the people he is; not just his clients, but also family and staff. The bottom half of the site even has a collection of testimonials and video FAQs regarding him and the need for chiropractic care. Like I said, transparency. Outside of Dr. Byers I have interacted with one massage specialist and the front desk manager, Flor. Both have exhibited the highest levels of professionalism and feel like an extension of what Dr. Byers’ vision for great chiropractic care is: Improving your life is our promise. If you’re hesitant about seeing a chiropractor, don’t be. You’re in good hands with Dr. Byers and his team.

I have had back pain for many years and was itching to see a chiropractor. The pain in my lower back would keep me from standing for long periods of time, sit still in class without cracking my back, and it got so bad that it was hard for me to sleep comfortably. I did an examination with an X-ray and come to find out a disk was slightly misaligned. Can you believe that! From the amount of pain I had, I thought my back was deteriorating, but no... a slight 1/4" misalignment caused me so much pain. I was started on a 3 day for 4 week adjustment and decompression therapy, and from the first week I felt soo much better. I am now down to twice a week adjustments and feel welcome whenever I enter the office. The building is clean and when you walk in you are welcome to take a water bottle and sit in one of their message chairs!

I started coming to Byers Chiropractic and Massage because I was in a car accident. When I first began treatment I had a lot of stiffness and pain in my neck and right shoulder. Shortly after receiving adjustments and massage therapy I have noticed a huge difference for the better. Dr. Byers is very professional, helpful, and knows what he is doing. He has given me helpful tips how to sleep at night and some stretches to do throughout the day. Massage therapy has been a great addition to my healing process as well. I have learned different techniques to help relieve some of the pain and tension. Another huge plus is I have never had to wait for my appointments. Everyone in the office is super friendly. I would recommend this office to anyone who is in need of seeing a chiropractor or in need of a massage.
