I have been going here continually since 2012 and honestly credit the physical therapists, techs and staff here with saving my life. I have some chronic health conditions but the most pressing challenge through 2016 was advanced heart failure from a heart muscle disease that also meant living with an implanted defibrillator/pacemaker. I was in need of a heart transplant for some time, but was not approved a few years ago because of my other significant medical challenges. When I began going here in 2012, I had to use a wheelchair part of the time, due to a serious back injury and compression fractures in my vertabrae. I also had suffered from broken bones due to falls I had from narcolepsy (that was not then well-controlled). I found the team here to be compassionate, creative, encouraging and seemingly passionate to utilize their expertise to help me. I received so much pain relief from the physical therapy (and personal training sessions; when prescriptions ran out, they offered me the opportunity to continue coming for "personal training" by paying a very reasonable fee per visit, out of pocket). As a result, I was able to significantly decrease the amount of pain meds I took and enjoyed an improved quality of life. And, I grew much stronger. By 2016, when my heart totally failed and I was reassessed for heart transplant, the doctors recognized the major improvement in my overall strength, walking ability, etc, despite the increased severity of the situation with my heart. I was then approved for transplant, and an appropriate donor heart was found just in time, while I was on life support. Without the help of folks at OrthoPT, I honestly believe it is unlikely I would be here today. Now, once again, I go to OrthoPT as part of my post-transplant strengthening and recovery. The team here has become like family to me over the years and I look forward to each of my two weekly sessions. Currently, Grant is my physical therapist and I continue to be very favorably impressed by his expertise. Others have worked with me at different times and been great, as well. Notably, the techs who work with clients on their exercises once the one-on-one time with the physical therapist cocludes are an absolutely outstanding group of men and women who themselves are either experienced athletes and/or are preparing to go on to school for PT, OT or to become a PA or MD. They are fun to talk with, upbeat, and knowledgeable in a way that adds significantly to ones treatment experience. In conclusion, I recommend OrthoPT in the highest terms. They are fantastic at what they do, are not influenced in their decisions or advice by being in any particular healthcare network, and invest generously in the Wake Forest community.

I give this place 5 stars!!!! I came to Olivier in April of 2013 with a shattered ACL!!! My goal was to strengthen my leg/knee before surgery. Upon my arrival I was unable to bend my knee, put pressure on it, nor was I able to straighten out my leg (could have been from fear IDK). However, after 1.50 hours with Olivier on Day 1 I was able to straighten my leg and bend my knee more (not 100% the first day but I did would give it ~45%!!!!). It has been almost 3 months and a few days since my first visit and following the TO DO LIST at home!!!! I DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE SURGERY!!!! My knee is at least 92% back to full usage (some of my activities I have not re-started yet...so that I why I say 92%). I no longer have to wear that heavy brace!!!!! I am able to play with my daughter without the fear of hurting myself. I am able to walk in high heels...yaaaay (VERY IMPORTANT :-) )!!!!! DID I MENTION I ONLY SEE OLIVIER ONCE A WEEK!!!!!! Now...you will have to do your part too at home... The staff...knows me by name!!!! I really like that...I feel like a person!!!! It is very CLEAN in there which is really important!!!!

With my torn rotator cuff now healed and half frozen shoulder, I met Olivier for the first time this week for rehab and he is fabulous. I was hesitant to even do therapy, because in the past i have been to places where they just stick u in a corner with a rubber band or bike. He was all ears and listened and was very kind and understanding. I feel he truly wants you to succeed and get better. After examination and asking me my symptoms, we proceeded on my shoulder. He was gentle yet firm, pushed me but kindly. I had better movement of my shoulder after I was done then I have had in six months. He believes I can repair my shoulder on my own with his help and not require surgery. I am so ever grateful with tears in my eyes that I found a place close to home that cares, and I wont live a live in pain and misery. In fact, I hurt my neck yrs ago in an unrelated fall and the therapy is helping that also. I would recommend them to everyone. ;)

Great team of pros! Everyone goes above and beyond to show great customer service and excellent treatment and care. By far, one of the best staffs and group of people I have met and encountered, esp. my superb physical therapist Olivier Chassin! I have the highest regard for the care and treatment I have received for several issues that needed physical therapy. The entire staff from front desk to physical therapy aides to my therapist, were all caring, compassionate & professional. They work carefully & effectively with me so my issues get resolved pain free. I highly recommend them and heartily suggest that you check them out. It is the best facility I have been a patient at! Bravo yall.

I have been going to physical therapy for a long time. I had a wrong diagnosis from my first doctor and had to find another that ended up doing surgery. The staff is patient, kind and genuine; I felt like family. What I liked best was that I worked with the same PT each time so they knew me, where I was in the beginning and where I was currently. When I had PT at another facility I did not know who I would be working with and they did not know me or my story. It is hard to want to go to PT. Knowing that the people are caring and the time there would be enjoyable made it easier. Last night was my last night and I can honestly say that I am sad to leave my family behind.

I am so pleased with my progress! I went in because I was having back spasms due to the knee replacement I had a few months earlier. Since my knee was not completely straight yet, it threw out my back. I have been seeing Olivier and he is just wonderful. From day one I felt I was in good hands. They called me by name on my SECOND visit!! My knee is at about 95%....its getting there and my back is almost pain-free. I am very glad my doctor recommended this place to me. I was dreading going to PT but with the caring staff and Oliviers knowledge, I know I am in great hands. Thank you Olivier and your wonderful staff.

The assistants and therapists know you by name, not some number. They know your injury or condition and will utilize the most appropriate and up-to-date therapy to make you feel better. Your doctor and you are included in the treatment process. I have never been to a medical facility where I look forward to going to it and it is fun. This place is actually fun! Who knew a place of this sort would be so good for the mind and the body.
