(Note: See update below original review) First of all, its important to note that this company essentially pays - with free treatments and discounted service - for 5 star reviews. Theres a big sign in the treatment room announcing it. So I had to deduct a star because of that. Second, they have a cash payment plan that means that if you dont have insurance, the least you pay is $500 for up to 6 treatments. So if youre feeling better after 3, then you just have to wait until you feel bad again to use that credit. I prefer to pay as I go. The therapist I saw for an introductory session does appear to know her stuff. But I wasnt given very clear instructions for the home exercises I was given and it wasnt until I went to my current therapist that I discovered I was doing one of the stretches in a way that was basically useless. (He showed me the correct way, and I could immediately feel the difference.) Also, the initial consultation/assessment was mostly conversation, with a small amount of treatment at the end, which didnt have much effect. The consultation I had with my current therapist was MOSTLY treatment. My opinion is that if you have insurance, or plenty of money, youll probably get decent treatment at Hohman. But I wasnt happy enough with my experience to go back for a 2nd visit. UPDATE: I received a call from Justin, the office manager here who listened to my concerns and explained that the day I came in, the assistant who worked with me (after the therapist) was very new and a little harried, which explains the poorly-explained stretch exercise. He also said it never occurred to him that the pay-for-stars system could appear unethical, but that it made a lot of sense and they are changing that policy. Finally, he explained that you actually can pay as you go but, again, the new assistant wasnt clear on that. Overall, I do have a good impression of this clinic and believe you will get good care there, so I am raising my rating to 4 stars.

Over the last fear years I developed wrist pain due to multiple reasons but I always put off getting any help because of the fear of having to interact with new people on a weekly basis and my anxiety. Eventually my lifting routine became limited and I knew I needed help. Hohman Rehab happened to be right down the road from where I live which is why I originally went. From day one I was greeted by the friendliest staff ever who helped my wrist pains on the weekly basis. My evaluation on my wrist, I learned I had dequervains tendonitis; and learned everything about the cause, how to prevent it, and how to speed the recovery. Every session I spent with the staff here was such an amazing experience because the staff show a true interest in learning about your life and who you are. I felt this differs from any other therapy program I went through and allowed for my speedy recovery!! After 4-5 weeks my tendonitis completely went away and I can now bench press and do push ups like any other person! If you have a fear of anxiety, feel awkward, hate social environments, afraid youll never heal, or dont want to waste money; then this will definitely be the place for you because I never felt at a disadvantage going in and every session I had I saw improvement!! I learned more about my body coming here and even go regularly for body massages to relax my fascia tissue.

Ive been to several physical therapists over the years. The Hohman Rehab Ocoee team is by far the best experience Ive had. Besides the obvious of helping my chronic neck issues, they all (Nick, Mary and Ashley) have a beautiful spirit about them that makes you feel welcomed by friends. I have found that a big part of the healing process, no matter what you are trying to heal, is the ability to have a positive attitude. That is exactly what you get from Nick, Mary and Ashley: Extensive book knowledge surrounded with a genuine caring spirit that exemplifies joy. Ive been working with this team for a couple of weeks now and between my sessions of PT, my sessions of cold laser therapy, and the work I put in at home, I am happy to say that I am feeling better and on the right path. Thanks to ALL!

My experience at Hohman Rehab Center in Ocee has been and is on the precipice of current physical therapy technique and technology accompanied by outstanding customer service. Last week I was concerned about scheduling an appointment I had vaguely discussed with Ashley due to a possible appointment conflict with another institution. With the businesses of life I forgot to schedule the appointment with the Ocee office and stay on schedule with my treatment. To my suprise on that Monday morning I received a phone call from Ashley to come in on Tuesday, thus keep me on track and on schedule with prescribed treatment. Great customer service contact that put a personal touch on things. OUTSTANDING!!!

My experience has been terrific. I had tendinitis in my left shoulder that was causing a lot of pain and limited range of motion. This effected my daily activities and sleep. I needed to heal quickly since I have a physical job. Within a week I noticed a positive change and the improvement has continued. Lauren really knows what she is doing and recommended some good and easy stretches to do at home daily. Emily and Ashley have been so helpful as well, and I can say I enjoy my sessions. Hohman is a great place for physical therapy. I was referred here by my primary care doctor. I have been going to the Ocoee office for a few weeks, and I have definitely seen improvements in the symptoms I was experiencing. The staff (Dr. Nick, Mary, and Ashley) are very friendly and professional, and they all ensure a pleasurable experience from the time you walk in the door until the time you leave the office. I highly recommend Hohman and the Ocoee team to anyone in need of physical therapy or sport-specific rehab. They are the best!

Hohman rehab is fantastic! My arm was ripped from my torso by the abominable snowman in the everglades (he was down there for gator season). My doctor was able to reattach the remnants (which wasnt much), and somehow Hohman Rehab got it working again! It only took about 3 weeks of polishing and a few applications of white lithium grease and I can now move my arm more than I could before the incident! I actually have 360 degrees of movement. The money I saved on back scratchers has more than paid for the physical therapy.

Love Hohman Rehab in Ocoee! The entire staff is so warm and welcoming. I have been going there for the past 3 weeks for PT for ACL reconstruction I had on my right knee 4 1/2 weeks ago. They have been and I know will continue to be wonderful in helping me through my recovery. They give you the individual attention you need and listen to and address your concerns. Feeling stronger already and Im just in the beginning of my recovery phase. Grateful to have found a place like this and highly recommend them.

This office and staff is truly exceptional in every sense. The whole experience from the minute you walk in is very welcoming and inviting which is necessary. The staff do a great job of making sure you are comfortable and keep you involved throughout the process. Whether its Ashley, Lawren, or Mary, these ladies go above and beyond and their personalities mesh perfectly.
