I suffered a stroke back in October 2016. My life changed in the blink of any eye. I was very scared and hesitant about starting physical therapy since my speech was slow, and I have no feeling in my left leg and minimal in my left arm. Upon arriving to Apex Physical Therapy the first day, I felt a warm atmosphere and was greeted by the front desk staff in such a warm, friendly, and caring manner. The treatment I receive is outstanding. The therapists make you feel so comfortable and always make sure you understand and know everything they are doing and why. I feel so at ease with them. The entire staff is incredibly professional and at the same time, they take you under their wing. They are nurturing on your tough days, and they are your cheerleaders; always routing you on when you complete your exercises, no matter how small as just sitting and pedaling a bike. My physical therapist is Joe and I also work with Jerry and their assistants Jill, Mel and Brittany. I cant say enough about them all, including the wonderful staff at the front desk. I could write a book on them all, but will say they are all so amazing to work with. They all have a great sense of humor and are so very caring. They make coming there fun when they know you are in pain, and you will always leave there with a smile on your face. Its been over three months since coming to Apex and it was the best choice I ever made. I have improved greatly since my stroke. My mobility is better as well as a little more ease of some exercises, and I get stronger every day. I very highly recommend Apex Physical Therapy in Cape Coral to anyone who has a condition that needs care and nurturing along with an incredible friendly, caring, attentive staff. Cant thank you enough Joe and your entire staff at Apex!! Karla Stento

From Franco: After 9 weeks in an immobilizer for a detached quadricep muscle (from my patella), I knew I was in for a challenge. I had wrestled in college and been active in weight training and after 5 minutes under the care of Apex, I could not wait to return for my next visit! On my first visit they moved (according to my doctors instructions) the immobilizer from 0 degrees to 60 degrees. I was given instructions about what was going to be done and what I needed to do. On my second visit, I realized I had already attained 20 degree movement between the massaging and manipulating of the knee cap, due to the exercises given to me to do at home. I returned two days later with 40-degree movement! My progress was way ahead of where I thought it would be. I credit this to not one or two but four therapists that worked with me in my four short visit so far! I am sure there are many more clinics or rehab centers and therapists, but as a patient at Apex I have been encouraged by the other patients as we are going through the exercises. It is like a community of people helping each other. And that is how I know that I am at the right place and look forward, even after I am all done that I can return, and literally call them friends! Lastly, from Danielle who signs me in and gives me my next appointment to the therapists that put ice packs on me at the end of my session, I am truly grateful to be part of the family at Apex!

I would just like to take a moment to say thank you to all the staff and clients of Apex Therepy. As all know that I have been a client for well over a year. During that time I have met the most wonderful people. Just trough the physical therapy I have gained more mobility than I could imagine. And through the icing I have gained friendships I was not looking for. I had PCL replacement surgery Feb of 2015. That is where it all started.. Then 6 months of PT. Things were not going so well. At that time I changed seurgeons and at that time my therapy was moved to Apex. Then it all got better from there. All in all 4 surgeries and 2 years of therapy later I am able to graduate! Now I will get to stop in often for pleasure... To visit my friends. I would like to thank to all of the wonderful people at apex that come through with there hearts to provide necessities for myself and my family. That will never be forgotten! God truly work in ways not of our understanding. Thank you all for your generosity, kindness, and love, during the difficult time in my family life.

After rotator cuff surgery I had my first eight sessions of PT back in Illinois before coming to Florida for the winter. I felt that I had a long way yet to go when I started at APEX Physical Therapy in Cape Coral. I felt very much at ease with the staff from initial registration to the therapy itself. There is a great balance between professionalism and a relaxed environment. Everyone there works together as a team. I saw a steady improvement in my condition as I progressed over the months. At no time did I feel I was being advanced too fast. As I come to the end of my therapy I am grateful for the return of my motion and quality of my daily life. I would not hesitate to give my full recommendation to anyone who needs rehab therapy. Christine

On April 11, 2017, I had a right total hip replacement. My first experience with PT (not Apex) was disappointing... no continuity across sessions, therapists who gave contradictory directions to me, and very little progress. So I sought another facility and found Apex in Cape Coral. What a difference! I am now 7 weeks post surgery and can walk outside unassisted for 20 minutes. I ride my bicycle every night after dinner for 30 minutes. And Im strong enough to have my second hip replacement. I will return to Apex in July for my second post surgery rehabilitation. I appreciate the professionalism of every single staff member. They are as interested in my progress as I am, and they gently challenge me in every session. Thank you so much!!

I CANT PRAISE EVERYONE AT APEX ENOUGH. I FIRST CAME IN A WHEELCHAIR , GRADUATED TO A WALKER ,NOW IM USING A CANE. AFTER 4 YEARS & THREE OPERATIONS LATER I CAN FIND LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL! I WAS DEPRESSED & IN CONSTANT PAIN . WITH THE HELP OF JOE AND THE ENTIRE TEAM IM FIRST OF ALL NOT DEPRESSED ANYMORE , ITS VERY HARD TO BE WHEN YOU WALK IN & SEE ALL THE SMILING, ENCOURAGING STAFF.I TRULY FEEL THEY HAVE BECOME MY FRIENDS ALSO. MY CONDITION HAS IMPROVE DUE TO OUTSTANDING STAFF. I FEEL SAFE UNDER THEIR DIRECTIONS. IT IS A EXTREMELY CLEAN & SAFE ENVIRONMENT. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO WANT TO GET BETTER TO SIGN -UP WITH APEX PHYSICAL THERAPY IN CAPE CORAL.

I have RSD/CRPS in my lower limbs which has been spreading and causing me to lose strength and mobility. I was using a wheelchair more and more and wasnt able to hike, do group exercises at the gym or even shop or cook! Tom told my cronic pain support group about ASTYM and other treatments available at APEX. I tried it and now am walking better and further plus regained some strenghth and stamina! My main therapist Rudy has been amazing as has all the staff. They are caring and supportive and make it fun to work hard to get better. I cant say enough about this place. I plan to continue therapy here to keep my mobility as long as possible! Thank you APEX!!
