Dr. Sanderson is honest in his appraisal and tells you what will and will not be corrected by your surgery. First, he did 2 carpal tunnel surgeries for me. I have had wrist pain as well, and he told me the carpal tunnel surgery would fix the numbness in my fingers and thumbs, but not the pain in my wrists. He was correct, and since then have found that the pain I have is from a completely different set of problems. He showed me, years after the carpal tunnel surgeries, what is wrong, and his methodology is great. He does not use injections of cortisone, which he explained turns the surrounding tissues to jelly and theres not enough left to perform good surgeries. Yes, thats a more painful way to live before the surgery is complete, but Id rather have more pain and know Im not going to a doctor who treats something in a way that will cause more harm than good. Ill have Dr. Sanderson perform the joint rebuild necessary on my right wrist, and if my left wrist needs it, hell do that one, too. My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Sanderson for both procedures.

I recently fell on a run, resulting in a mallet finger. I went to a different doctor who didnt correctly diagnose the problem. I was referred to Dr. Sanderson, whose office was extremely cordial and accommodating getting me an appointment very quickly. When I showed up for the appointment I was given paperwork to fill out. I was called back, had an x-ray taken, and had doctor consultation finished before I could even finish the paperwork. My initial appointment with a general doc at this hospital was not handled well, so they received a poor review from me. This experience was the polar opposite. Worked out exactly as we should expect from the medical profession. In fact, my expectations were exceeded greatly!

He has terible non bed side manners. The first time I took my 10 yr old son from a broken hand I waited 2 hrs to see him and i only saw his PA at the hospital. He need it surgery. The I saw the doctor before surgery for about a minute he did not talk to me the only reason he came was because i told the rn i wanted to meet him and after the surgery once again he sent a RN to talk to me about how my sons surgery went.

Dr. Sanderson is a warm, keen, compassionate surgeon whose dry wit and gentle attention instantly put me at ease. He is an artist (see the remarkable portraits adorning one wall of his office), and the rapid recovery of my badly injured hands following his ministrations convinced me that this is as true of his scalpel as it is of his pencil. I am thoroughly impressed. P.S. His assistant is first-rate, too.

Dr. Sanderson is not only an excellent orthopedic doctor, he is a genuine and caring person. After breaking my wrist in oct. 2009, my general practitioner transfered my case to Dr. Sanderson. He helped me out when I was down on my luck and I will forever be grateful to him for his competence, compassion and integrity. The office staff do a great job and I would recommend them to anyone.

Awful. I broke my finger on a Saturday and was referred here by insta care. They didnt even look at my x-rays just scheduled surgery to put pins in. Two weeks after the surgery my finger looked worse than before, and they were no help for other options. I saw a different Dr the next day that did another surgery and fixed my finger the correct way.

Very impressed with the service, and sincerity of Dr. Sanderson and staff. I had an extensor tendon repair and was in and out of surgery fast. Great work from a skilled professional surgeon. I would highly recommend Dr. Sanderson to anyone.

Perfect! I have had two operations (left and right thumb) performed by Dr.Sanderson. My first operation was in 2006 and the later was in 2008. Both thumbs work fantastically and with out any pain till this day (10/5/13).

Less than a one star. I now have seen two fingers on two different people that look the same as before the surgery. Does not back his work up. Well I guess he would if you paid for it again.
