I moved to Potomac in 2014. I have a little shih Tzu which is the love of my life, my little Molly. Shes had some serious health issues since she was little and Potomac Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Scott and Dr. Scott have taken such good care of her. They keep me posted when she requires further testing, they call me personally to discuss her test results which gives me peace of mind that my baby girl is in good care. I also have a jack Russell terrier that was bitten by a copperhead snake in May. We rushed him immediately to the Potomac Animal Hospital and they knew immediately that he was in trouble and called ahead to another animal hospital to treat him before the venom got too far into his body. He had a full recovery. My little Molly girl is also groomed at the hospital. They do a great job, she looks fantastic and is not stressed out by the whole process. I am really glad that I chose Potomac Animal Hospital to treat my dogs. They are so friendly at the front desk. Always smiling. Always willing to help and will answer any question when I call, no matter how silly it may be! Potomac Animal Hospital is my vet/grooming clinic because I trust them. I always feel like I am in the best hands and my babies are receiving the best care! I would certainly recommend this facility to anybody looking for a new vet or somebody relocating and in need of a new facility!

We switched over to Potomac Animal Hospital several years ago after having a bad experience at another local vet. Since day 1 they have been incredible. My dogs have seen Dr. Jason Scott and Dr. Christine Morrow and I would highly recommend either one. Both doctors are patient, never rushed, always answer our questions, and treat our dogs as their own. Weve seen Dr. Morrow most often - she is so warm and down to earth it feels like you are talking to your friend who happens to know a whole lot about veterinary medicine. The front desk staff are so helpful. My dogs arent the best behaved around other dogs (they bark and squeal), but the staff is always warm, patient, and helpful in making the experience as easy as it can be on everyone. Ive left my dogs for boarding with them too and they are the only people I trust outside myself and my fiance with our dogs. If you are looking for good people who genuinely care about the well-being of your fur kids, I would highly recommend Potomac Animal Hospital.

We first met the PAH when our dog ran away, and a call from animal control told us he had been found--weeks later--and was at PAH. When I picked him up, I was told that they saw him beside the road in the Village and were concerned that hes be injured by a car, so they took him in. They reported him to the shelter but didnt turn him over, because he was just a mutt and would not have been kept alive for long. They kept him, on their own, for several weeks. We decided that anyone so nice should be taking care of our animals, and now, forty years later, they still are, through innumerable cats and dogs. Everyone there loves animals and theyre very kind to them. The two Doctors Scott have great skills and do a wonderful job--and they both care a lot about animals. I cant recommend them strongly enough, would give them all the stars that there are if I could. Im very grateful for countless kindnesses that theyve shown my family and especially my pets over these years.

When our Great Dane developed a torn knee, I was afraid that he would live the rest of his life in pain. I went to Potomac Animal Hospital expecting the normal "Here are some pain killers," response that Id received from so many other vets. Instead, Dr. Scott listed off all the up-to-date treatments available to heal my dog completely. I could hardly believe it! With the help of a on-call specialist, my Great Dane went through a very delicate surgery and was soon bounding across the yard again as though he had never been injured. Now Dr. Scott has been treating our animal menagerie for over 15 years and I cant recommend Potomac Animal Hospital enough. Between the kind and considerate reception staff to the wonderful care provided by Michael and Jason Scott, we feel very lucky to have found this clinic.

Dr. Jason Scott and his wonderful team at Potomac Animal Hospital care for all four of our dogs--and have cared for their older predecessors since we moved here from New York. We recently adopted two standard poodle puppies--Henry and Holly--and Henry, the elder by a week (we think,) become very sick with an infectious disease he picked up in our yard, which teems with wildlife at night. He nearly died. A combination of local and regional specialists between Potomac and Philadelphia brought Henry back to life with Jason at the core of coordination and care. We love the Potomac Animal Hospital team. It teems with professionalism and warmth from its veterinarians to its front office staff to its back office support team; all are superb.

Dr. Scott and Dr. Moreau took a tremendous interest in taking care of our dog who was suffering from back pain and then a few days later, GI issues. Along with their staff, they were very thorough and patient in walking through my dogs situation and potential issues leading up to his illness. Their continuity of care was evident afterwards when I received a call from their front desk today following up on my dog and his progress. I wish you saw this genuine care and thoroughness with human patients. A MUST GO TO PLACE!

My lurcher Bella and I recently relocated to Potomac after several years living in Scotland. I was extremely pleased by our initial appointment with Dr Jason Scott at Potomac Animal Hospital who gave Bella a complete exam, and alerted me to the things requiring precautions in this neck of the woods. The whole experience was extremely friendly from the beginning to end, clearly a practice that loves the animals who they serve. Five stars for the whole team!

We have been going to PAH since we moved to the Washington area 33 years ago. Over that period, we have had 7 kitties who have all benefited from the knowledge, gentle care, and compassion of Drs. Scott, senior and junior. A special acknowledgment goes to the superior staff at PAH. They know by name all their patients and their owners and are always supportive. Thank you, thank you to the PAH "family."

Our cat Kuzia has been a patient of Potomac Animal Hospital since 1999 and we are pleased with the level of service he is getting there. So when my mothers cat was having stomach problem and did not get much help at her local vets, we brought her to the Potomac Animal . She is doing great now, too. Our sincere thanks to the wonderful vets and staff.

We have had all of our animals treated by both Michael and Jason Scott. They and their staff have been and still are the greatest, most caring group of professionals.
I would heartily recommend them to any and all who care for their pets

I have gone to PAH for nearly 40 years through a number of pets and received kind, compassionate and competent care throughout the years. The doctors are great and the staff make you feel welcome no matter how busy you are. Ken does a great job grooming my miniature poodle.
