Dr. Prothman did our family right when the lab lost our dogs blood work he refunded the money to us and took more blood at no cost. He had apologized many times for the loss of the blood at the OSU lab. Not only did he do us right but when I took our dog into the office he was very scared, Dr. Prothman got down to our dog and gave him attention to try and settle him a little bit. It is the compassion in the small town vet you actually get to see towards the animals that you dont get to see in the big city vet clinics.

Most amazing vet! He is wonderful, even though I didnt want the news he gave me...he was awesome, realistic and didnt rob me in my time of sorrow. Other vets would have sugar coated my furbaby baby symptoms and said lets try this that and the other, knowing darn well my furbaby wouldnt feel better . He was honest, sympathetic and just down right wonderful! If I get a new furbaby...he will be my vet! I recommend him for your furbaby.....

I have had no negative experiences to share and explanation of the positive experiences would require much more room and time than I have available here. Dr. Prothman is a phenomenal DVM with a professional, compassionate, and highly competent staff.

Ive been taking my three large dogs to see him and hes wonderful. Recently, we rushed my 6 year old boxer into see him when she stopped breathing! He immediately tended to her with loving care. She ended up passing away but he was so understanding, patient, and helpful. In a terrible time like this its so nice to have a vet that really cares.

Hes the best at everything he does . He goes the extra mile to do what he can . He is a TRUE lover of any furry friend and will treat them like they are his own . I cant thank him and his staff enough for what they all do for our four legged friends .
