Worst experience with a vet Ive ever had. Her son walked in the room during my dogs euthanasia. The procedure took forever and Dr G and the vet tech laughed when they couldnt find her vein over and over. I was sobbing and they were just clueless. Later, when I asked Gay the receptionist why they didnt send me a reminder on my other dogs health reminder, she said it was my job, and called me a bad pet parent and hung up on me. I do have my dogs records, but every vet office Ive ever known in diff states sends courtesy reminders. Regardless, Im an incredible dog mom and to have such a mean person act sugary sweet when you first meet her and then attack you for no reason is inexcusable.I got no apology from Dr G. I know a number of people who have left there also. I cannot imagine being so cruel to someone! This was a year ago and it still hurts. A vet should be competent and compassionate and the receptionist should have been disciplined or fired. Having a TODDLER walk in at the worst moment of your life and hear the dr say, Ill be right there, it was awful and so unprofessional. I dont want anyone else to be treated this way.

Perhaps this place has changed from 3 years ago, but when I brought in my dying cat (kidney failure)in to their office after finding her lying comatose on the kitchen floor, they gave her some fluids and sent her home with me that night and told me if she wasnt feeling better by the morning to bring her in. Thankfully I rushed her to another Seminole vet and they immediately put her on IV drip for 5 days straight. I was able to take her home at night but was told to have her back in the office in the morning ASAP so they could get the fluids pumping into her. Well, they saved her life and she lived until now (3 years later), and sadly she is in the process of dying (breaking my heart, for sure), and it reminded me of this place. I hope they have changed, but be careful - your little companion cant speak up for themselves...

Dr. Green and her staff genuinely care about your pet. Very thorough. My dog had bladder stones and she tried everything to dissolve them rather than put the dog through surgery. Unfortunately, he wound up having surgery. He came through wonderfully. I can not sing loud enough praise for this entire office. They are kind, considerate and knowledgeable in every aspect. Bonus, they also do animal rescues. I wouldnt take my pet anywhere else!

I moved to Florida six years ago with three dogs. I tried a few other vets before going here, Dr. Green has been great. First vet that didnt try to sell me everything in the place and she was excellent with our dogs. We had a dog that was aggressive and they were great with him. I have recommended Medicine River and so far so good.

The staff and Drs took my 3 animals in immediately after my vet closed his doors. They are kind and friendly. I thought it would be a difficult transition but they were so gentle with my animals and welcoming. Thank goodness for Medicine River!
