The receptionist here are completely rude and unprofessional! As soon as you get there youre not greeted at all, and after signing in and being on time for your scheduled appointment youre still waiting in the lobby for a very long time -and are still not acknowledged by the receptionist. While waiting in the lobby a few dogs started barking (mine included) and one of the receptionist (who has the gauges in her ears) starts telling someone how she hates barking dogs, and proceeds to tell a story about her neighbors dogs that bark and how she thinks they need a muzzle and how it drives her crazy... Ok I understand some days dogs barking can be annoying we all know this, but hello you chose a profession working with animals!! That includes barking dogs! Do you really think people in the lobby here want to hear you complaining about that? No we want you to be compassionate and caring, what if I was there having to do the worst thing as a pet owner and putting them down? Do you think I really want to hear how you cant stand animals and their behaviors? No! You are the first people we see as pet owners, the first impression we have of the whole vet in general. And as that impression you failed miserably. Not to mention all the Drs are pretty rude too besides dr. Malburg he is the absolute best, the only reason why I want to go -is because of him. But honestly thats just not enough anymore I feel like everyone thinks the same as well because hes always so booked up. I do not recommend this veterinarian to anyone and instead looking to find a new and better qualified one.

Absolutely WORST vet Ive ever been too! The vet tech gave my dog the wrong shot to sedate her, then had to give her another one (the correct one) and charged us for both! The Vet was very unprofessional and very cold and heartless. Told us we need to amputate our dogs toe because of a growth on her paw pad. They then gave her a reversals shot for one of the shots but not the other one. Walked out of there $493 later and got home. My poor dog would not stop crying with uncomfort. I called the vet and went back up there too get the second reversal shot. After she had already given my dog the second shot she then decides to explain to us that it is will only reverse the pain meds and not the sedation and will take a couple hours. AND THEN tells us theres a $40 charge for the shot! I was LIVID! I will never go back and will never ever recommend anyone go there.

Called ahead of time to schedule an appointment for my four pound dog. I also wanted to get his shots priced out so I know how much money it was going to cost me. After talking on the phone to lady at the front desk and scheduling and pricing the total came to $130... called my brother who took my dog to the vet for me and the bill came to $181!!!!!! The lady on the phone failed to mention that there was a $50 vet fee associated any time you come in. It doesnt matter what you have done it will automatically cost you $50 plus the cost of whatever you are having done and apparently you should know this coming in because they dont tell you over the phone when you call to ask. I will be looking for a new vet from now on, their prices are extreme. EXTREMELY PISSED

Worst Vet I have EVER been to! I walked through the door as a first time client with 2 puppys. For the first 30 minutes I was totally ignored (the 5 receptionist there refused to make eye contact and were "busy" doing who knows what). When I was there for exactly 1 hour waiting...I finally got up and left. They were rude and gave no excuses to why the wait was that long when there were just a few people waiting anyways. It seems that this is the norm for this place. After doing some research on them afterwards I found one of the vets is a felon who wrote prescriptions for herself. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!

I love North Gratiot Vet! Dr. Bob and Dr. Brett are so great and wonderful, and so caring. Weve been seeing them for years, and theyve done multiple surgeries on my black lab who has been plagued with recurring tumors. The wait can be long sometimes, but in my opinion its because there are so many doctors and so many patients, but not as many rooms as perhaps the facility needs. Nevertheless, if youre looking for caring vets who are focused on whats best for your pet, you should definitely go here. Their prices are also very reasonable, so thats a plus.

By far the friendliest and best staff. All the Vetrenarians are very compassionate. Everyone in the building seems to really care. I wouldnt take my two boys to any other veterinarian. I drive all the way in from Marine City. I would highly recommend them.

Always helpful and informative. Good process flow too when they are busy. Next waited more than 20min past my appointment time during their busy hours. Yeah granted its still a wait but 20min isnt all bad when they have a full waiting room.
