Since moving here 12 years ago and having a dog, we needed a vet. At that point, we never had to take our dog (Skip) for anything other than routine visits. Unfortunately, Skip passed away 2 years ago. From the moment they saw us coming through the door with him in my arms and my grown kids, they ran to us. It was traumatic enough for the boys to have lost their first dog, but losing my best friend, was bad enough. Save Haven made the whole experience for us so much more easier for us to say our good-byes. They did not rush us out of there, they were so compassionate and understanding. It looked like Skip was sleeping peacefully when we were allowed to go in. Recently, our other dog Daisy had developed some kind of infection on the back of her neck. They got me in quick, explained that Daisy was a rescue dog and she doesnt do well with others. Again, they did not give up with her, they took their time offering every kind of treat there was but Daisy wasnt having an of that. By the time we left, Daisy stopped shaking. Their staff and doctors are all very nice, they listen & they treat your pets like their own. I would not use anyone else. I know that any pet is in good hands with them. Thank you Safe Haven!

THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO SAFE HAVEN WAS WITH MY BELOVED PET, PUDDLES, SHE WAS VERY SICK, UNFORNTUNATELY RATHER THAN SEE HER SUFFER ANYMORE, I HAD TO PUT HER ASLEEP. I WAS THERE TO COMFORT HER BEFORE SHE LEFT ME. IT WAS A VERY SAD DAY FOR ME, YET THE STAFF WAS GENIUNELY COMFORTING TO ME. THE NEXT TIME I VISTED, MY MOM HAD TO PUT OUR FAMILY PET, PATCHES, VERY HEART-WRENCHING AND YET THE STAFF & THE VET WERE VERY COMFORTING TO ALL OF US. I JUST BROUGHT MY JACK RUSSELL, 16 YRS OLD , TO SAFE HAVEN TO GET A CHECK UP, HE IS IN GOOD HEALTH, SOME MIGHT WONDER WHY AFTER LOSING 2 DOGS, WHY I KEEP GOING BACK THERE, WELL ITS GOOD TO KNOW THAT MY DOG JEEPERS, IS IN VERY GOOD CARING HANDS THERE. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH ALL THEY OFFER I WOULDNT THINK OF GOING ANYWHERE ELSE. I KNOW JEEPERS & MYSELF ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE VET DOCTOR AND THE STAFF AT SAFE HAVEN VETERINARY HOSPITAL IN PALM COAST.

Ive never given a vet office 5 stars before. Thats saying a lot. In fact now that Ive been to see both Dr. Stuart and Dr. Puckett Ive never had such a positive reassuring experience at ANY vets office before. AMAZING. I was involved heavily in rescue for over 12 years before I had to quit bc of personal health issues but I still have 9 little misfits that became permanent residents. Ive been so happy all day. So much less anxiety about these animals and my own Dr/vet trust issues. Impeccably professional and kind...the whole staff and office is refreshingly open inviting and clean. Support staff kind friendly and just never realized how badly I needed to feel this way about a vet including feeling understood by staff. My face hurts from smiling all day. Dont let the slightly higher office charge fool you. They make up for it in many ways.

I have been going to Safe Haven since we adopted our dog Shadow at 4 months old. She is now 19 month old and part of our family. All the people at Safe Haven from the vets to techs, front desk staff, etc. are always so professional and wonderful with the animals brought in for their care. I have had the opportunity to put Shadow in their care when we needed to board her over an out of town visit for extended times. When we picked her up at the end of the stay at Safe Haven she was of course happy to see us but also was taken care of with many extra hours that were given to make her comfortable. The first time I had to bring Shadow back for any shots, etc. she was not at all reluctant to enter the building. She knew she had friends there which made me realize I had picked the right Veterinary Hospital.

Having just moved to the area and not having an established vet practice, I did some research and found Save Haven. My first experience was extremely positive. I have two cats and have always had difficulty finding vets who are exceptionally good with felines. Not only was the nurse tech extremely good with my cat, but the doctor spent lots of time talking to me and answering the many questions I had. Turns out my cat was diagnosed with diabetes and requires a 2x/day shot. This was scary to think about, but the nurse tech scheduled a special session with me to show me, teach me and allow me to practice. They made if very easy and less intimidating for me. To this day if I call and leave a message, someone calls me back usually within 1-2 hours. They are very responsive and pleasant. Thank heavens!!!

I recently moved to Palm Coast Florida and was in need of a Veterinary Service for my two nine year old chihuahuas Speedy and Chickie. They are my life so I very carefully researched animal hospitals and veterinary practices here in Palm Coast. Safe Haven Veterinary Hospital was the name that kept coming up in answer to all my concerns. I decided to take and chance and make an appointment for my babies that have several health problems. Seven visits and several procedures later I could not be happier with the choice that I made with Safe Haven Veterinary Hospital. Today my babies can look forward to a much longer, healthy and happier life and I owe it all to Safe Haven. Kudos to Dr.Lee Stuart and the entire staff at Safe Haven Veterinary Hospital

Called in last minute the day after Christmas for an emergency. They fit me right in as a new patient same day. Dr. Lee Stuart was wonderful, was very tender with my kitten, thoroughly checked him out and did not rush, even though it was a crazy day for them. He casually mentioned that that morning he noticed my pet was added to the schedule (paw infection) so he spend his lunch freshening up on research of possible conditions. This really impressed me and shows the level of dedication. The aide that assisted was just as caring; he comforted my scared kitten and whispered words of reassurance to him continuously. Wonderful first impression, I will be bringing my other pets here in the future.

I have been taking my pets to Safe Haven since it opened. Once I started I never looked elsewhere. The staff is very loving to the pets and kind to the owners! My dog, Rex, actually likes to go. His tail starts wagging nonstop at the door, and he greets everyone. Rex is personality plus! The vets are highly educated from the UF vet program, and I never doubt their medical analysis and treatment. It is important to know they will work with you financially, and offer an in-house insurance plan Most importantly they know your pet is a part of your family and treat him this way. Animals sense and read body language-you can not fool them. Rex feels loved there and that tells me all I need to know!

We have two precious pugs, Guinness II and Daisy. We love them and want to have them around for a very long time. Safe Haven is helping us do just that. When we arrive at Safe Haven, the pups actually run to the door. They cant wait to get inside. The staff is wonderful. Dr. Puckett is caring and thorough. The technician Donovan is amazing. Not only does Safe Haven meet the medical needs of Guinness II and Daisy, but when it is necessary to board them, we feel comfortable leaving them at Safe Haven. In those instances, we actually tell Guinness II and Daisy that they are going to Donovans house, and they get excited. It is a great veterinary hospital and I highly recommend it.
