Dr Walter is excellent and very professional. Ive never had an issue with my eye exam. I have VSP insurance so Im limited as to where I can go for lenses and frames. Ive always used this place out of convenience but I cant continue to do this. Its always taken at least 2 weeks to actually receive my new glasses but this year things are not happening so predictable. I ordered frames on 4/25 and was told that they were out of stock and would arrive at the lab on 5/13. I called today to check on the status of my glasses and was told my frames would not arrive at the lab until 5/27 and would not be at their office for at least a week after that. So it will take over a month for me to get new glasses!!! Its 2016 not 1982 it should not take more than a few days to get someone a pair of glasses in modern era. Not to mention no one at Kingsway Optical seems to care even a little bit about this massive inconvenience.

Was really happy with the eye exam. Was not happy afterwards. They basically pushed you right into their showroom with a very limited selection and very HIGH prices. I just asked for my prescription so I could go elsewhere and got the run around at getting it. They insisted I needed Transition Lens and after going back 4 times in 3 months they finally said... gee why dont we just give you plain biofocals. Of course it was way past when they could give me any refund between the difference in price of the two set of lens. An invisible bifocal would have been more near the cost but no. Will NOT be going back to this place.

Dr. Walter is phenomenal. He takes his time with you and makes a point of making sure you understand everything. He is REALLY good with kids as well. His staff is just as good and I adore his receptionist. His selection is a little limited but I have never had a problem finding something I love. They also have discounts for buying more than one pair and they really try to help you get more bang for your buck. I have been going to him for about 5 years now and am really worried about what to do when Dr. Walter decides to retire.

Dr Walters and his staff always so nice and helpful. I work at an insurance company where giving excellent customer service is key. And that is the way I feel when I walk into Dr Walters office as a customer receiving excellent service as a customer.
