The doctor was wonderful, but the receptionist was as rude as they come. I was trying to make the appointment and she was getting very testy with me so I canceled it, but I really wanted to go there so I called back, but she wouldnt answer. I called the eyeglass counter just b in front of her little office and they told me she should answer because she was at her desk, so I tried, yet again. No answer! Then I got the idea to call from my other line, so I hung up and called back, she answered right away!!! I was furious! I then called the warehouse manager and told them about my experience. They werent happy at all. This seems to be a pattern for the receptionist, my advice is to let Costco know, they dont want rude staff anymore than you do. The doctor is contracted there, they dont work for Costco. They would be more than happy to get someone else.

I purchased a set of eye glasses in Costa Mesa California 3 years ago and it was fast and ez. Now i need a pair of eye glasses but i cant find anything on line that i can choose from. i guess i am forced to walking like the first time. i find it odd. no prices on line either. Glassess USA has a choice and better prices. Sorry Costco. After reading the negative comments i think i will shop on line. Lots of junk information about the jail bird Martha S .. and her collection dont impress much.

Went looking for a walk in contact lenses exam. Walked past the sign that said walk ins welcome when available. Knew there was a 50/50 chance of getting in. I asked nicely if there was anything available today and was told very rudely "No Chance." I then asked if there was anything available the next day and she sighed and looked for a bit but seemed very annoyed. I told her thank you and left.

Ive been going to this optometrist for years. Hes great. Yes you need a Costco membership to get glasses. Its Costco. Thats separate from the optometrist. Youll still get your prescription that you can take anywhere to get glasses. This optometrist and his secretary are both very nice and have been great with me and my daughters.

Excellent! Dr. Hutchinsons patients appreciate his high level of service enough to recommend him to others. Youll get a comprehensive exam, and a script for lenses that you can have filled anywhere - including Costco, if youre a member.

Dr. H is fine, but his incompetent team is awful at taking and keeping appointments. Dont wast your time with this worthless office. That said, filling your prescription at Costco is a no-brainer if your a member.

unless you have a cosco membership card, dont go there, because after you finished your eye exam, you wont be able to get a glass unless you are a member of cosco.
