I can say this much I was treated at the most horrible experience in my life not only did I fall in their parking lot with construction going on at the entrance of the emergency room they were playing around everywhere there was no safety or markings and the great going into the emergency room with sticking up that you would either hurt your foot or fall over and I went to tap on the window to tell my husband to come on I fell over a pipe which were numerous ones laying around and busted my head open and hit a main artery and I also broke my nose I broke my cheekbone not my teeth out and also messed up my knee and has a foreign object in it for my knee upon speaking with Pat one of the representatives at the hospital I learned that the surgeon that sewed my head up was not even a employee with Piedmont Fayette hospital she was contracted out and was not even a neurosurgeon that was very disturbing and I was hemorrhaging so bad that people coming along going in the hospital was and had people taking pictures of the construction site which is brasfield and neither Piedmont Fayette Hospital wants to pay for my injuries that happen nor does the construction company but in my experience that I have had I have fought tooth-and-nail with this and if I had a business that was caring for sick people I would make sure that the perimeter would be very safe for any patients coming in and also I would make sure if I had a surgeon sewing up a persons head that had a busted artery and dealing with her brain would have a neurosurgeon in there and would not send her home with that observation and the lady woke up with blood all over a pillow and now her memory is messed up and has Piedmont Fayette Hospital come forward to even be concerned no they wanted to rush me out of the hospital and keep their mouths shut and then I find out I did not have a neurosurgeon taking care of me and they never knew if I would go home and Hemorrhage to death and as far as Im concerned I would not want a contracted person to come in and take care of me especially anything to do with your brain or anything I think this is very poor judgment on a hospital this happened back in December and I am still fighting with them not only do I have teeth that has came out I also have severe memory loss that I was sent to a concussion sports management dr. due to the severity of my brain and I have got the runaround on the hospital and the construction company and when I went on the Construction companys website I noticed they were a hundred and fifty bad reviews that has caused very big accidents so at this point I think that I need to get OSHA and the News team involved to make sure that anybody that goes into this Hospital should be taken care of by a real surgeon because they want our money but they dont want to pay surgeons to do it so advize you the next time that you go in the hospital if youre not unconscious you make sure you get the doctors credentials because you might have a contractor so in your head up that dont know what theyre doing so I advise you from now on if you go to Piedmont Fayette or Newnan Hospital you need to get their credentials because you might not be working with a real surgeon and that was it Vice to me with Miss Pat with administration of Fayette Medical Hospital but I will get my head taken care of and I will get my teeth taken care of and I will get my knee surgery done with Emory University but I was sure you that OSHA and the medical board of Georgia

So, I was visiting the area during spring break on vacation with the family (12 hours from home) and had to rush my 4 yr old into the emergency room with breathing problems. We arrived at 1045pm they took his vitials and told us to wait in the waiting room. Another nurse called us back to get his history, again told us to wait. By this time it was 1115pm. A little girl around 7 year of age came in with her parents with a rash on her arm at 1130. Needless to say were were still waiting to be seen and had inquired AGAIN. Especially since the 2nd nurse that saw us stated that the emergency doctors would see there last patient at 1115. But you have a waiting room FULL of people. So, here it is 1145 and this little girl gets taken back to the bay area and serviced. Yet, my 4yr old who is having trouble breathing is still waiting. So I went and inquired again, the nurse at the desk (Renee) was her name stated that there was 1 person ahead of him....so again I waited all the while my son is burning up, with VERY shallow breathing. So my husband inquires and then my mother-n-law....by this time there are two people ahead of my son. I was told my the nurse that someone called in with a more pressing issue and was placed ahead of us. Also, that since his vitals were stable that he was not considered as urgent. So can someone explain to me how a 4yr old who is having problems breathing does not qualify as urgent. So pressing forward, by the minute I got angry and said some choice words not directed at anyone and even apologized to the nurse, but I did find it RIDICULOUS that you would not place a pediatric patients who is having trouble breathing at the top of the list. So, after much consideration and frustration we decided to leave after sitting the the emergency room for (4) hours without seeing a doctor. So once I told the nurse we were leaving she asked me to sign a release document the title was "leaving against medical advise", basically releasing the hospital of any liability if anything had happened to my son in relation to his vist. I REFUSED....why would I sign a document releasing you of liability and you basically refused to see my child for WHATEVER reason. So, upon me leaving I called during business hours to lodge a complaint and needless to say I never recieved a return phone call back. So my advice for anyone visting this hospital STAY FAR AWAY, if you want to remain alive.

Wow! I just had the worst "Professional Industry" related customer service experience in my 38 years on this planet at the Piedmont Fayette Hospital EMERGENCY ROOM. (not to be confused with the maternity staff who delivered our last set of twins and was fantastic). Waited for over 5 hours while my wife was in severe pain (9 out of 10) with zero communication or even acknowledgment from staff regarding our existence despite my wife vomiting from pain in the hallway. Couldnt even get a towel for clean up - finally had a nurse pass by and grab a sheet off a table and toss my way for me to clean my wife. Meanwhile, around every corner Im facing the Piedmont signage with the Five Fundamentals of Service and Living the Piedmont Promise. Not congruent with our experience at all. Talk about a complete contradiction from the very publicly promoted Customer handling Process to the real actions of the majority staff who exude "Were doing you a favor pal, so sit down and shut up" attitude. It seems the fact that some of their customer ARE paying a premium for their "Professional Services" and not expecting charity work is given no consideration. Finally once we saw the Doctor, I experienced the worst bed side manner of any medical professional imaginable. He was pompous, rude, and get this...in the middle of a question from my mother in law his cell phone rings loudly with some kind of MC Hammer dance ring tone!! Are you kidding me? A "get your groove on" ring tone by a Doctor in an emergency room? And then....this "Professional" actually rudely cut off my mother in law and answered the call! This was the most un-appropriate behavior Ive ever experienced from a Doctor...ever. Then, hung up and said, yall think about what you want to do and Ill be back and left. Holy Cow!! Think about what... you havent even given our diagnosis or answered our questions? I dont write this review in an effort to discourage others from visiting this Hospital at all. Quite the contrary. This is my 3rd negative experience here in a row in the past 6 months, and my sincere hope is that leadership of this Hospital who obviously has good intentions from their attempted implementation of positive customer service process, will see this feedback and use it to make the Piedmont Fayette Hospital Emergency Room a better place.
