I just wanted to thank all of the wonderful people at kindred for the care of my father in law. We have been on a long journey for going on 3 months now. My father in law went to the hospital because he lost feeling in his legs due to blood clots. After a few extensive surgeries, a stroke, and a heart attack, he is still on the road to recovery. He landed in a long term acute care center known as LifeCare hospitals of Dayton and it was a nightmare. I wont even go into the problems we came across while there but they nearly killed him. We had enough of this place and had him transferred to kindred. I cant express to you how thankful we are and how happy we are with our decision. Dr. Torres and the staff here have been a breath of fresh air on this long and difficult journey. Because of all of you, he is looking to be transferred today to a rehab facility and onto the next step in getting better. All of the nurses he has had have been such a blessing. Everyone we have come across have had a love and passion for their job which is apparent as soon as they step foot in the door. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will be sure to tell everyone going through what we have gone through that kindred is the best place for their family members.

Everyone has their own experiences here. The icu is absolutly great. My grandpas girlfriend always got the care she needed. Couple months ago moved out of icu onto a different unit nurses do their job, but has taken up to 4 hours for pain meds to be aministered, today in 22 minutes i will have been here for 4 hours not 1 nurse, doctor, pct, supervisor nobody has been in to check and i do not like that. The rooms are freezing, my grandmas girlfirends blankets are always off her shoulders and they just dont pay as much attention as they should all nurses pcts everyone is different, some are great some are not so great. Ita sad to see health care in the shape it is in and hear from some nurses and have them say the same.

This hospital has the absolute best staff and ppl working for them they made me feel at home treated me with nothing but respect and actually cared what happened to me if I ever had to spend time in a hospital again this would be where I would wanna be the staff is amazing all the way from the bosses to the jaintors I felt like I was in good hands not to mention they saved my life I wish there was something I could do to repay the favor but they were just doing there jobs better than anyone else in the health care field I love all of you and thank you from the bottom of my heart

A very welcoming and caring hospital. My dad was not the easiest to deal with because of all of his complex medical problems but the staff did a great job of helping him after he was at Miami Valley. The doctors did not think he would breathe on his own again, but he did at Kindred. When I was at Miami Valley there was always a different person watching him, but at Kindred it was always the same people who I soon knew and called them by their first name. I liked that. I am glad he went to Kindred as he is doing well at his nursing home.

My son was a patient at Kindred hospital for three weeks. He received excllent care. The nurses and aids were very attentive to his needs and helpful to me. They answered all my questions and made sure I was satisfied. The doctor was attentive as well. When my son was discharged I received a call from the hospital asking how he was doing. That made me feel good they cared about him after he left there charge. I am very pleased with them and cant praise them enough for the care the showed my son.

Kindred is a warm inviting friendly atmosphere.The staff are caring and take care of your loved one as if they were thier family. As we sat by my Dads bedside they also made us feel comfortable and part of the family atmosphere! It was nice to always be greated with a smile! If you must have a loved one that needs this level of intense care it is nice to know that you have a place like Kindred to go! Thank you to all of the staff for taking such good care of Dad and our family!

I like the care that I get here since day 1 they have taken good care of me. They make sure I have everything that I needed. The nurses I introduce themselves and make me feel comfortable. The food is pretty good. The rooms are nice and clean an big. I have a nice view of downtown. Lisa always stops by to check in and makes sure things are going good. My family enjoys visiting me here, makes me feel at home. I would highly recommend it. Good wifi too.

My mothers friend was a patient at Kindred in March. The physician and nursing care were very good based on her feedback to us when we visited. She did comment that the nurses were always loud at the nurses station so I would ask for a room far far away from where they work. Food was average but her appetite was poor anyway. Parking was very convenient.

I had issues with Kindred Hospital Dayton about the way the nursing staff was conducting bed baths. But I am pleased to say it seems to have been resolved. I received a letter from Kindreds CEO and believe that the matters than had so upset me have been effectively adressed. So my rating for Kindred goes from 1 to a solid 4.

My experience at kindred has been rewarding. I cant say enough good things about the nurses and other staff. They have treated me like family.I leave Here knowing I am going to miss my new friends. I know I will be alright because of the good wishes and support I hot at kindred.

Almost all of the staff are nice and caring. I was loving that place until I got swapped floors. ( just not the same). The attention and rehab is good. Overall a good place.

There are some very nice nurses and pcts. But there are a select few nurses that truly dont need to be in the profession...literally. The line of disrespect is ridiculous.
