Since zero is not an option, I had to choose one star. On 7/10/2017, Coretta (front desk receptionist) refused to see my son who had difficulty breathing and severe facial swelling. She refused to see my son because he didnt have a Tricare insurance card which military personnel will understand Tricare doesnt give you an actual insurance card. They provide you with a military id that has a DoD number listed not an actual ssn. Just like a commercial insurance carrier benefits still have to be verified by phone, fax, or automated eligibility check. He did have his drivers license on hand. After, I spoke with the receptionist and informed her I could immediately fax over the provider benefits eligibility alongside his military id so he could receive care she still refused treatment/services. The manager wasnt available to discuss the issue when asked to speak with her personally, but Coretta did mention she confirmed with the manager Sherry who validated her actions. When turned away he went to Piedmont Emergency Room where he was treated immediately upon arrival with no insurance card on hand. This couldve been a huge liability on behalf of Piedmont following the refusal of care. Per EMTALA guidelines his rights as a patient seeking emergent / urgent care have been violated.

I received excellent care here. The staff is very thorough and the wait time was not long. I have used this immediate care four or five times. The reason I gave it a two star is because of the billing and insurance issues. The last time I used the immediate care I confirmed that they still took my insurance, paid my co-pay and saw the Doctor. (N.P) Apparently they do take my insurance but only for what was done in the office. The doctor did not take my insurance and I ended up paying a $236 office visit bill to the Doctor. I really felt it was a billing issue in how the billing office coded it but they were unable or unwilling to change the billing so my insurance would pay. So when it was all settled, the injections and test done in the office were covered but not the doctors fees. Who thinks to ask the doctor when he comes in the room if he is on your insurance plan? Basically at the front desk they accept your insurance but once you are in the room..... well it is a different story. Therefore I will not be using this immediate care anymore.

zero star. DO NOT GO HERE. They billed me in December 2015 for a lab culture that was not performed for me and it is now April 2016 and they still have not corrected the billing error. Dr. Virginia Oglesby billed me for a bacterial culture which was done for another patient and so she billed my insurance which is the wrong patient and insurance. They bill me and send a second bill from quest for the same lab. I have been calling since December to correct this error. Every time I call I have to explain the entire process over and they transfer you back and forth from the office to the billing department. Spoke with Kira from the office on 3/2/16 that stated that she corrected the problem and I just received a final notice from quest for a bill that is not mine and quest told me that they did not get a call or corrected billing form from the immediate care. Today I called again and the front desk nurse told me she cant help me right now because they are busy and short staff. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER AT THIS OFFICE.

Ive been to this center twice trying to avoid the ER but would rather wait then get substandard care. My first experience wasnt good or bad but my second was horrible. First they rushed me out with a very short exam. I had severe body pain and they wouldnt even consider giving me anything for it. When asked they told me "NO." They told me to take Tylenol. I told them it wasnt helping and they said take more and we are not giving you anything else. I dont have any hx of pain mess so why would they treat me a pill popper. I could go on about the other problems with the visit but would rather leave it at that. I would never go back to their facility. Summit Intermediate care is down the street.

Ive been to this facility several times & Ive always been seen promptly. The staff is professional, courteous & very helpful to take care of whatever complaint I have had. I use them when I cannot get a timely appt. to see my private physician, which at times has a 2 month wait for a "sick" appointment.

I was seen about 2 weeks ago for a hamster bite. It was a pretty gnarly bite. They saw me pretty quickly, thoroughly cleansed the wound, and answered my questions. I feel I was well cared for. Now, I cant say anything about billing. I hope there are no issues there.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. The receptionist was sullen and the girl that took my information gave me bad information. To make a long story short. Food poisoning last 24 hours and a virus lasts for days.

I felt a little embarrass when I was there because of the location of my cyst and it was a full woman staff, but they made me feel very comfortable. Thank you Dr. London!!!
