I came to this Davis based on reviews. The Davis I normally go to has gotten too busy and they couldnt accommodate me with an appointment. I called and was greeted pleasantly and was given a late afternoon appointment the following Tuesday. The store looked neat and organized. I was quickly attended to and wisked away to the back for the initial tests and then on to the eye exam. The exam went very well and the Dr listened to my concerns and addressed them. Finally I am being heard. My previous 3 visits have yielded nothing to resolve one issue I was having. Also, the Dr tweeked my prescription a bit and made sure I was comfortable with my vision. Finally I was sent out to select frames. The assistant who helped me was very nice, honest and had fashion sense. She pretty much selected my frames for me and they looked good and felt comfortable. She helped me pick out 2 frames, one for regular use and a pair of prescription sunglasses. The glasses were ready one day early and they fit and feel great. Im still new to progressive lenses, but they give 30 days to try them. Will see how it goes! I would recommend this store to anyone. Well done!!

Rescheduled an appt for today for my college age Daughter to have her yearly eye exam for contacts and the staff had no record of the appt so she could not be seen today. Very disappointed and I know I scheduled this appt for my day off. Then it had to be rescheduled again. All I can recommend is get the name of whoever you talk to there and call before leaving your house so you are not wasting your time since obviously being scheduled when you schedule over the phone.

I went for an eye exam with a coupon for that, I showed it to the salesman he read it and said he will honor it. After I had the exam with the optometrists the salesman came back and said he will not honor the exam coupon unless I buy new eyeglasses for 400 dollars, that is a blackmail and not honest, ended up paying for full exam without the coupon Bad business do not go there
