KC - I think you meant to give Dr. Abedin a few more stars. ;) My name is Christina and I live in Ashburn, VA. I have to say that I have NEVER come across such a caring doctor in my life (Im 46). About 14 years ago, when I first moved to this area from CA I started seeinag Dr. Abedin. During my annual wellness check he and I would chat in his office. He didnt just care about my physical well-being; he cared about my emotional state. During one of these physicals he mentioned to me that I needed to see a therapist to work through some issues from my past. It took him a year of gently prodding until I agreed to go see someone. I remember verbatim him saying to me, "Christina, I cant force you to see someone, but Im telling you that if you want your pain in your neck to go away, you need to see someone." Those words changed my life. It was not easy and its been a long jounrey, but I can honestly say that I would not be where I am today without Dr. Abedin caring enough to not only take the time to get to know me, but being honest with what he observed. There is no one like him!!

Dr. Abedin and his staff are great! I have been taking my kids to him for 10 years now and wouldnt think of switching! In the past, he has treated our kids for minor issues, as well as more serious ones - always with care, kindness and knowledge. I can go on and on about all the times he squeezed us in, taken calls at odd ends of the evening/weekend when theyve had more urgent needs, called in prescriptions on Sundays, etc, etc, but bottom line is inside and outside his practice, he CARES and it shows! He really makes us feel at ease and weve never felt like were shoved around (as I sometimes get with other doctors). If youre looking for a sharp, caring, knowledgeable doctor who will take the time you and/or your kids deserve, Dr. Abedin is the one I would HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Abedin and his staff have been consistently friendly and always welcomes my family with big smiles. I do think that I am one of Dr. Abedins first patients in private practice and have stayed with him and his staff because of the care that my family receives. He is knowledgeable about the most recent research and is open to other less known therapies. In addition, he will take the time to discuss concerns and/or questions that we might have regarding treatment. Most recently, he has allowed us to try alternative treatments and is willing to discuss available options other than just medication. Overall, my family and I have been very happy with Dr. Abedin and his staff and would highly recommend his practice.

My boyfriend has been seeing Dr. Abedin for accupuncture treatments, for spacticity in his left arm and hand because of a stroke. The office staff are always friendly and professional. Dr. Abedin actually listens to us and answers all of our questions. He is very straight forward and tells you directly what his opinion is. I appreciate it, because we always leave with a clear understanding of what the next steps are. He pushes and motivates his patients because you can tell he cares about them. I would highly recommend Dr. Abedin.

Helped me lose 15 lbs in one month, April 5 to May 5, 2011, and I feel great! Dr. Abedin has a great "bedside" manner, and knows his medicine. I made him my primary care doctor back in 2004 after he helped my mother with her health issues. What else can I say - It is easy to get an appointment, and he spends plenty of time with you during an appointment. The staff is very nice as well. If you are looking for a doctor who has an "older school" approach with 21st Century knowledge, Dr. Abedin is your man. Highly Recommended.

Great all around Doctor! His expertise in Acupuncture cured my recent knee injury from skiing. I am a believer in his methods. It was almost instaneous relief that has lasted. He is dedicated and confident in his methods. I will be back for any other ailments. Great bedside manners and efficient office staff. Highly recommended!

Dr. Abedin and his staff are the best. They are knowledgeable and friendly and always on the cutting edge of everything. Very well informed! I love that I have never had difficulty getting an appointment - they always manage, because the patient comes first!

Truly the best Dr. office around! Dr. Abedin and staff can make any situation comforting. Whether it a big or small issue for yourself or children Dr. Abedin spends time with you. Never has been a problem to get an appointment either!

Takes excellent care of all my Family. Good advice and helped control the health of my Dad. Focus on prevention rather than treatment. I am thankful to Dr. Abedin for timely reccomendations. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

Great doctor - very blunt with you which I love. Lost 50 pounds in the past 6 months because he pushed me through that decision of needing to make a change. Fantastic staff as well - never had a single problem.

Worst experience. Go for a qualified MD for your health care, not this one. Dont get fooled with online reviews -- his wifes five star rating, office staff, relatives, etc.
