Doctor J. Menocal is awesome. Its as simple as that, no beating around the bush, or cutting corners. I am absolutely pleased with him and the staff. And for those who say that the people in the front are rude maybe you need to toughen up a bit, not every one you come across is gonna give you a lollipop and a balloon and walk you through everything. They are there to get your information set up your appointments and make sure youre on time for them, so to avoid a potential upset front desk employee maybe make sure you come prepared and on time? Also make sure you are treating people with the respect youd like in return! Hello good morning/afternoon maybe remember they are people too and should be treated as such!!! Have some compassion for people and give them a chance! I have a ton of health problems and i havent had one doctor explain a damn thing to me, they just throw prescriptions at me, what I like about this practice is that its quick efficient and he will explain in detail what is wrong how you can help take care of the problem and he remembers!! Every time I come in he asks and he remembers every detail thats special ! - and shout out to DR. Christopher p. Haas, he was equally wonderful!! Saw him once on the 23! Nothing but positive things, so thorough and professional! You guys deserve 6 stars! From the nurses that come in the room before the doctors come in to the doctors to the ladies upfront! I commend you !! Keep it up !

Ive had 2 horrible experience with this practice. I used to love seeing either dr but not anymore. First, dr. Menocal had prescribed me a medicine that had an ingredient in it that I am allergic to. I was not aware of that fact and I ended up in the ER swelled up so bad I couldnt see or barely breathe. After this incident I decided to give the practice a second chance, considering the fact that up until this point I had nothing but rave reviews. Well just this past week I had blood work done that Chris wanted done. I was called in a few days later to discuss the results. I was told I had mononucleosis and was sent home with a script for steroids. 3 days later I was in the ER and later admitted to the ICU for pneumonia that was so bad it had filled my lungs. I am baffled by the fact that not only did he misdiagnose my pneumonia but that he couldnt hear the wheezing and shortness of breath in my lungs just 3 days prior to being admitted to the hospital. Sadly, Ill be leaving this practice. I cannot continue to be worried that my health care will not be diagnosed correctly if I need to see a Dr for any reason.

Both Dr. Menocal and Chris are awesome. They have both seen my 4 year old and both have done an amazing job with her. So why the 3 stars? Because their front staff are THE WORST I have ever had to deal with. One is unbelievably rude, and the entire front staff apparently just sits on their butt talking all day as I was just told now, A YEAR AFTER SWITCHING, that they have none of my daughters medical information on file INCLUDING HER VACCINE HISTORY! Apparently, they cant be bothered to contact the previous doctor and verify that the files were faxed to them. A great doctor might be great, but if your front staff (who are basically the ones that most will be dealing with on a normal basis) is bad, then your image as a whole goes down.

Dr. Menocal is a kind caring D.R with good values and common sense. He is very much in tune with the whole person and carefully looks at all the factors in that persons life. The waiting room is a bit hectic but very much worth the wait. D.r Menocal is very much public health minded and serves the community regardless of what they make, where they are from and weather or not the can afford to pay. Thank you D.R. Menocal for making Frederick a safer, healthier place for all of us.

One of Dr. Menocals employees or maybe himself, not sure, was in my place of business recently and was EXTREMELY RUDE and entitled. Dude, youre not that big of a deal. Get over yourself. I hope you treat your patients better than the way you treat retail workers. Unreal. One star for being a rude entitled dick.

Front staff might not be the warmest and fuzziest, but Dr Menocal and the other doctors/nurses on his staff are warm, caring, and literally saved my husbands life, so I recommend them without reservation.

I wouldnt even give them a one, worse doctors office Ive been to and its not even the doctors its the out front people, they always have an attitude and even when you call your on hold for over 10 mins.
