About a week and a half ago I had my child at a different hospital. The other hospital told me I had to have a c-section. Well, my spinal block was severely botched and resulted in a spinal headache. I went back twice to the same hospital who messed it up and they did nothing. Well I suffered with my spinal headache for a week before I scheduled an appointment with my usual OB (she didnt have any privileges at the hospital I went to so no one in her office could deliver). As soon as I got to the front door (no easy feet with a spinal headache) a gentleman greeted me with a smile and asked if I needed a wheelchair. I said yes and he wheeled me to my appointment. I was greeted at life stages and they wheeled me back. After a five minute conversation with my OB they determined it was a spinal headache and they sent me upstairs to postpartum to have a consult with an anesthesiologist to talk about a blood patch. My nurse from life stages wheeled me up there and when I started to cry from sitting up so long, she comforted me and told me she was sorry for making me sit up that long and turned out all my lights for me. When I settled down she left. All my nurses and doctors were so kind and caring. I received a blood patch latter that day and felt instantly better.I can now get up and take care of my new born daughter. I am so thankful to everyone at this hospital for making my life so much better. You guys are the absolute best! Youve given me back my mobility and my life. I could cry at how grateful I am. Thank you soooooo much! also the facilities are lovely.

Im actually still here I was transferred from another hospital. I must say the medical staff here are great always on top of everything. Always knew what they were doing made me feel very comfortable and safe. I have a kidney stone as well as a gallstone and have to have an emergency operation to remove my gallbladder. I never have felt so welcomed and well taken care of other wise then yale hospital this is by far one of the best well trained medical staff Ive come across :) lucy

called thw after hours urgent help line, got put on hold indefinitely rude young woman came on ever minute asking would i like to remain on hold. each time i said yes she sounded more exasperated, like hang up already. i needed to ask a question about my health and if i should come to the e.r. with 102 fever and 157/104 bp 96 pulse, headache and blured vision. i was on hold so long i could have died. finally gave up, sitting here miserable, dont know what to do. missed last bus

Absolutely horrible service! The nurses dont listen to your concerns. The wait time is just unreal. 3-1/2 to 4 hour wait is what they have posted as their average wait time. The nurses talk loudly to the patients so everyone hears why your here, ever heard of HIPAA?! Thankfully we dont need to attend the hospital often, but if we ever need to go again we will drive cross town before coming to Good Sam again!

Best in town cardiac care. I have tried Miami valley, Kettering and VAMC. Good Sam doctors are the best. Very capable and knowledgeable. The best people are the nurses and technicians in cath lab and EP [electrophysiology] lab. They like their job and happy there. Their work ethic is amazing. The best I have ever seen.

everytime ive ever been here ive had a bad experience. Not all the staff has sucked most of the nurses are nice but some are jus down right rude an you can tell dont care about how u feel. i live near the hospital itself an i would rather drive to the next town hospital rather then come here to good sam.

My mom went to Good Samaritan for and olser in her stomach and also the food service was too slow the food didnt come till after 2 good freekin hours also the staff was rude and nasty whats the point of running a hospital if nobody would give a f**k of whats going on in that hospital.

They treat their new mothers like criminals. The nurses we were in contact with were bullys. They talk about the patients among eachother where you can hear them. They act like everyone in there is a junkie. Very sad. I would never recommend anyone to have their baby there.

The staff was very unprofessional at times. Place felt more like a prison. Abscess busted on my shoulder and I was made to lie in the smelly puss for 14+ hours. Several nurses were ungentle in their treatment causing more pain. Will never go back

I went yesterday and they were super slow inattentive. I heard them talking bad about other patients and I was uncomfortable and in pain, super cold just about the whole visit. This is not the first bad experience Ive had there either.

Walked right in to ER, and was seen, and treated in a timely manner. Staff were all very professional and I left with a diagnosis of "kidney stones."

This place sucks! I waited 24hrs for an x-ray, only to be told I needed an MRI. Another 24hr wait?! Who is running this place?
