I delivered at Southview Maternity on December 18, 2014 and everyone took great care of us. I had a C-section scheduled for the following day, but ended up going into labor the afternoon before. The nursing staff did an excellent job of calming down my nerves and answering all of my questions. Everything moved very fast with the surgery, but Dr. Park made sure to give me a hug and ensure that everything was going to be okay. My main nurse even did an awesome job of thinking of the little things I couldnt or wouldnt have thought of to document the birth of our sweet baby girl. She took photos of the procedure from a distance for us so that we could later see her "emerge" from me. She also informed my family early on that things went very smooth and allowed my mother to come and see me before anyone else did (her idea) which I was very grateful for. I stayed in the hospital for three days and everyone we encountered was professional and caring. The facility feels intimate and smaller than most maternity centers and provides a warm and loving atmosphere. Also, I highly suggest taking the time to do the Bella Baby photo session. Theyre quick and totally worth it. Everyone gets an A+ in my book, but there are a few nurses that really stood out to me (Merilee, Susan, Gail and Sally. The lactation nurse, Megan was also very helpful and personable. I highly recommend delivering here.

I peronally would NEVER have a baby here. When children arent allowed to meet the new siblings/siblings in their life it makes it harder to adjust. Having the policy no one under 14 is the DUMBEST thing I have ever heard. I literally could have wiped my nose/butt/ etc and walked back to see the new baby but a child under the age of 14 cant. Risk of Flu...ok so I am holding younger child that could possibly have the flu (although he doesnt) and I leave him in waiting room with another adult to go visit the baby. Germs are still getting to the baby. THIS HOSPITAL REALLY NEEDS TO RETHINK ITS POLICY. WORST PLACE FOR FAMILIES TO HAVE NEW ARRIVALS.

I had my first baby here in February of 2014 and the staff was amazing!! I was at stroke level when I arrived and the doctor and nurses were quick to get my blood pressure under control and when I went from having a natural delivery to an emergency csection they did an amazing job calming our fears and delivered my son with no problems. Our room was very comfortable and homelike and made sure that my husband and myself were comfortable and questions answered. Looking forward to returning in February for the birth of our second child.

I dont recommend this place if you have another child. They do not allow families to stay over night together. Since, my 13 month old daughter cant stay the night, it leaves my wife to stay with the baby over night alone, while she just had a c-section and need assistance. What jack wagon would create such an anti-family policy? Its asinine! Its not a question youd think to ask, since families stay in hospitals all the time. Take my advice and go elsewhere.

Whole staff was unbelievably helpful, personable, and genuine. Went above and beyond to provide me with the necessary info/tests/treatments. They made a scary situation feel bearable and comfortable and legitimately heard/valued my concerns. Date of visit: 6/2/17 10:30AM suite #204

I had a cervical cerclage put in to save my baby from coming early and was terrified, my nurse was AMAZING! She calmed me down and barely left my side for 4hrs. My doctor was caring and sincere. I highly recommend this hospital for exceptional care!

We went to Southview ER on suspicion of a miscarriage. The staff was courteous and professional, and Dr. Esser was the best. We did end up miscarrying, and she was very sympathetic and kind when delivering the news.

I just had surgery at southview to remove my ovary. They did an amazing job. They were very nice and made sure I was comfortable at all times. I was in and out. Im at home now with minimal pain. Great job southview!

The staff was wonderful. We just had a baby here and nurse Esther was wonderful and took care of my wife and new born. If I have another child this hospital and nurse Esther would be my number choice.
