The experience Ive had at Boston Sports Medicine has been amazing. The staff are very polite and scheduling appointments has never been an issue. Ive been working with Brianna following ACL surgery and I highly recommend her. She is extremely knowledgeable, up to date on advancements in physical therapy, and has customized my recovery program to the unique sports I am involved in. I feel like I am ahead of the curve and have learned so much more about my health and body than I expected to. Over the many weeks that I have been coming here, I have seen patients with a variety of injuries and needs come in - the people that work here have a wide range of experience!
I will start off by saying ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEATBELT, especially in a taxi. But if you dont, and you get tossed around the back seat the fine people at Boston Sports Medicine can help you out. They came highly recommended by my chiropractor who had received treatment there himself. I came in with a sprained neck (pretty bad whiplash), a sprained back, and bruised ribs. Becky (Rebecca Lingerfelt) created a treatment plan that got me back on my feet. She was very accommodating with my schedule with appointments before work, after work, during lunch, you name it. The space in Davis Sq. is very convenient to get to and recently renovated. Its gorgeous and clean!
The staff at Boston Sports Medicine in Somerville are consistently excellent, very skilled, professional and genuinely nice. Ive had Emily as my primary PT - but when she was away I worked with a couple of others who were equally excellent and also well prepared to build from the work Emily had done with me. I usually dont write reviews but theyve earned my big thumbs up!
Ive been going to BSM for over a year now, and I really love it! Ive been working with Elyse Harrop for plantar fasciitis, and shes really wonderful. Even when my foot hurts or Im doing difficult exercises, she makes it fun and is really encouraging. I love the vibe of the whole office, and really appreciate that so many of the PTs are young women!
Boston Sports Medicine provides excellent care, and Meaghan Harwood is exceptional. They will help you, and teach you to help yourself. If you commit to it, you will end up in a much stronger and healthier condition than you were before your injury.
Ive worked with Brianna for several injuries over this past year and shes fantastic: smart, thorough, great listener, really knowledgeable and extremely skilled. The BSM location is convenient, too, right in Davis Square, steps from the T.
The most sensitive, holistic PT I have ever experienced. Meaghan Harwood is truly gifted and I have been able to resume a lot of activities I had avoided. I recommend this place highly.
New Fenway location is the best in Boston
