Ive been admitted here for ten days, and its been a nightmare. The nurses on the most part have been great. The problem is the DRS, my main medicine Dr. treats me like a low life drug addict and I get punished for other peoples bad decisions. Then the Dr. lied to me repeatedly in front of the nurses, and after she left they came in and told me shes lying. I have a spinal fusion from scoliosis and the metal in my spine which goes from my neck to my butt is infected with staph infection and is in my blood also which makes it life threatening. Im in chronic pain and they dont care, they treat you like a pain pill addict and let you suffer. What Im trying to get across if your reading this is the DRS treat you like your below them and treat you like your another file. Now your in a position to trust them in major spinal surgery which could kill me or paralyze me but they cant tell you the truth, SCARY! I hope this will help someone out there to make the right decision. One more thing, you cant even get to talk to the DRS, Im scheduled for surgery on Wednesday but I cant get the surgeon to come and explain the surgery, they told me maybe he can see me on Monday which is only two days before surgery that I know nothing about. If your reading take my advice and review other options because trust me I am.

My Son was here and laid in the ER from 4:30 pm one day until 5:00 pm the next before being put in a room. In the ER he wasnt even provided a pillow. At one point he laid 3 hours before he was checked on again. He had a fever of 103.3 and ended up having pneumonia. Our experience was the worst one I have ever had in a Hospital. Once he got to a room the experience improved but the ER was a terrible place with people even laying in the halls with no privacy. I sat and almost cried. I could write more but suffice it to say, that at this point in time its just an incredible thing to me to know, that a Hospital this terrible is actually allowed to operate. There are apparently few standards of cleanliness (bathrooms had urine on the floor and were filthy) or efficiency in place or enforced. I rarely ever write this type of review for anything but this truly upset me. Also, the whole time he was there he was not cleaned up or offered a chance to do so.

My brother is in Kentucky for work, we are from Illinois. He broke his wrist today and I called to see if I could find anything out as to how he was doing. Mind you, he is there without any family & we are 7+ hours away. When I called I knew they may not be able to give details, but when explaining the situation, Peggy (the nurse at the ER nurses station) completely cut me off and asked what I wanted. I then simply stated that I just wanted to know how my brother was doing & she snapped at me stating that he was there, in their care, and hung up on me!! I realize you may not to give out details, but have a heart and understand where a concerned family member is coming from. I hope he gets the hell out of there soon and finds care in a place with some manners and decency. Unbelievable!!

My husband and I went there for a visit to a family member of mine, and our family member had a nurse name Paige Doyle. I just have to say this because I think its pretty bad that the Hospital hired someone like this lady to work for them, and care for their patients. She was so rude, and she made so many racist remarks while we where there. I asked her name and I asked to speak with someone in Management and I was informed that there was no members of Management available. But I will be sending a email to the board of directors to let them know personally what kind of staff member they have working for them. This is a horrible lady that does not need to be working in any type of Public places, especially the hospital where care is a must for everyone.

Adequately staffed, very little wait in the waiting room. Same wait time to be admitted, as many of the other hospitals in the area. In dealing with some of the nursing staff, theyre not so receptive...interrupting you, talking over you as you make attempts to tell them your history or what is wrong with you. God forbid, you have ANY past experience in the medical field as a doctor, nurse or assistant... they treat you like you have white coat syndrome or a fn know-it-all. Bottom line, if you end up here, expect the minimal accepted care that you can receive minus the compassion. But you will eventually get taken care of.

This is the worst hospital. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. The floors had food in them when we arrived. Housekeeping apparently doesnt exist. It takes them over an hour to get you anything. They hardly ever come on the room to check on patients. I am here with my husband and its a good thing or he wouldnt be getting cared for. They say this hospital and the other UK are the same but theyre not. This one should be shut down.I ask for coffee creamer and they said they were out well i see it this way cafeteria isnt out.All these people who arent doing anything they should get more. She just didnt wanna get up.

The doctors here are idiots. The infection I had on my foot sat for 5 days without being cleaned until I brought it to their attention again. They had been caring for a place on my foot that wasnt the issue. Being diabetic, they are now trying to save my toes from being amputated. This is all after being sent home from the ER with a blood clot 2 days prior to coming back because my foot looked way worse. I didnt even have a blood clot in the first place. Needless to say, they will be speaking to my attorney. This is the last place Id ever recommended to somebody. Pathetic

Was admitted from UK and transferred here with Chronic pancreatitis. I suffer from this and disabled due to it. They gave me nothing for pain at all and would not allow me to take my normal meds that i have been on for years. I threatened to check myself out and the Dr. just discharged me and said oh yea btw you have spots on your lungs to that we forgot to tell you! If you are in pain go to Central Bap, and do not take your pet turtle to this old place. I wouldnt go there again if it were the only hospital in the area!

I came to visit my mother just now at about 8:48pm on the 7th floor. 3 workers was talking one lady looked at me and said absolutely nothing. I waited for 1 min n 3 seconds before I left. I find another lady in the hallway looking at numbers on a machine. I asked her if she could help me to make sure I was going to the right room. She responds ask the ladies at the front. I said they didnt even acknowledge me as I stood there. All she said was aww. What kind of hospital is this. This is ridiculous. They are here to help.
