If I could rate this place 0 stars, I would. While Dr. Neiman was very gentle with my cat and my feelings, I couldnt help but wonder if Banfield is only in it for the money. I took my cat to another vet and my concerns were resolved instantly (less than an hour) while I had to take my cat to this vet three separate times and they could not diagnosis him. If you want to get real attention to your pet, please seek somewhere else. I can promise you I"ll never take another pet here. Secondarily, while the actual vet seemed very knowledgable, I was repeated disappointed in the staff. It seemed like they were unsure on what they were talking about and scared to tell me the flat out truth. If youre like me and looking for the cold hard truth, the staff here will be unable to put themselves aside to tell you. I regret every penny I spent here. Dont fall for the "convenience" trap of it being inside a Petsmart, and certainly dont fall for the wellness plans BS. Go see a real vet and youll get real answers and real results.

I do not recommend taking your sick pet here. I took my diabetic cat. He had chronic diarrhea and his glucose needed regulated. Months later and thousands of dollars later still has same problems. Found from another vet his mouth has been inflamed. Last conversation w vet there she would consult w another vet and get back to me. Never heard from her. Also had emergency situation...called n am they said they were booked and would not work him n they said to take him to a emergency vet when i said i could not afford...they said nothing we can do. This was cruel trratment as they knew his situation was life and death. Do not take a sick pet to this location if u care about your pet.

Rude staff. I was asked to weigh my pup as the help muttered something and left the room. Everything was rushed and the exam for my pup was a quick glance and generic diagnosis. Im not impressed that the vet studied in the Caribbean. Avoid this mess and check out the Florence location. Far more knowledgeable/ friendly staff and the joint flows smoothly.

At the Newport ky location the so called doctors are very RUDE and not helpful. If you love you pet DONT GO HERE. Go to a real vet. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER....
