Dr. Baum is good and really cares about the animals. However the receptionist is not. I made an appointment with them for November 24th and about 10 minutes later after I checked my work schedule and realized I had to work my 2nd job that day. I called and rescheduled for the same time the next day. The receptionist did not put the schedule change in. They called to confirm the appt on the saturday prior to the appointment which they never do. I did not get the message until after they closed and didnt notice they still had the appt scheduled for monday. I spoke to them on Monday about 2 1/2 hours before letting them know that the appointment was incorrect and explained I called to reschedule to the next day. I offered to show them phone records where I did call and spoke to them to reschedule and it did not matter that it was an error on their part. They said I was no longer able to schedule appointments that I would have to do same day appointments which means I would have to call in the morning every day when it was time for them to come in and if they had received a cancellation then I would come in. If they were booked I would have to call every day until I could find a day where they had an ocpening for that day. I let them know that if I was not able to make appointments I would have to change vets due to the fact that I work 2 jobs and have to make sure I am scheduled off work when making the appointments. The response of the receptionist was careless! She said she would be there until 12:30 if I would like to come in and pick up my pets records. They lost both of my dogs as patients because of a clerical error in their office and was completely unwilling to do anything to keep our business. They also did not care that I had been with them for about 3 or 4 years and had never missed an appointment before.

EXTREMELY RUDE receptionist. Makes it very hard to schedule appointments and doesnt care about patients needs. Will not answer questions but replies with rude sarcastic remarks. I would recommend going to other facilities specifically for this reason. There are plenty of other vets close-by with exceptional customer service. I would recommend COMPANION CARE ANIMAL HOSPITAL - super nice, friendly and helpful staff and reasonable prices.

The Dr.is the most compassionate veterinarian I have ever known,truly there to help the animal. And his care is affordable as well as his meds. Has worked with our family dog that is very sick,getting her worked in his schedule and calling and checking up on her. Trying everything he knows so that we dont have to put her down. Love this Dr.wished every Dr. Was like him.

The veterinarian is awesome, But one of the Receptionists is rude, and because of her poor attitude Im seriously considering finding another veterinarian ! If your looking for great service and average prices and can deal with the rude receptionist this is the place :D

I highly recommend Dixie Animal Clinic. Dr Baum is a very compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian. I wont take my pets any place else.
