This place is far from affordable. We brought in our kitten when she was sick with an upper respiratory cold. Her symptoms were sneezing, a runny nose, and watery eyes. The vet told us she had a virus that could never be cured, which makes absolutely no sense, and that we would have to buy medicine for it for the rest of her life. They wanted us to buy her eyedrops for her eyes and a powder for her runny nose. They also wanted us to get her flea and tick prevention medication even though she had no fleas or ticks. She had fleas when we first got her, but by the time we brought her in we had already gotten rid of them. Altogether it would have cost us about $170. We refused to pay for all the pointless meds and only paid for eardrops (she had infections in both ears), tests, wormer, and the exam fee so we ended up paying about $75. Our kittens eyes and nose cleared up about a week later without any medication.

First off, the wait times are terrible, I had an appointment at 6:30pm and didnt even see a vet until 7:45pm. They never seem to keep any vets because it seems every time I go there, there is a new vet and none of the ones I had seen previously are there. Then as I am waiting all I hear is someone in the back gossiping and complaining about her boss! How unprofessional! Instead of taking care of patients all they seem to care about is gossiping in the backroom among coworkers. Then theres the cleanliness issue, I get that its a vet clinic and a lot of animals come in and out but there is always a terrible smell in the office and rooms. And on top of it all the recptionist is very rude and doesnt seem to know anything about medication care or any products or seevices. Will not be returning and I will advise my family and friends to do the same.

Never will i bring my dog here again. I have a bully breed dog, and once they seen him they immediately said i will get you a room asap with others being there before me. Once in the room the vet tech did not want to come near him because of his breed. With My dog right by my side sitting there not making a sound, the vet tech told me he will get the Vet. 30 or so minutes later the vet comes in and tells me all he needs for his issues is benedryl. She then brought him in the back, and came back with charges i did not approve of. $85 dollars later for just a check up i was furious. I the brought him to Wilsons Vet, and found out he had bacteria infection. If you love and care for your pet, DO NOT bring them here. Pay the extra 10 dollars somewhere else, because this place is far from professional and affordable.

If you care for your pets life dont take them here!!! They refused to see my friends dying dog who just had puppies 3 weeks ago because she forgot her money at home during their emergency visit. The person behind the desk would not even look over the desk at the dog. As my friend returned home to get her money her dog died in her arms with absolutely no help from anyone at this supposed affordable vets office... Thanks for killing a dog over 40 bucks and a ten minute drive. You people are horrible and should be ashamed of how you treat people and their pets when they are in trouble and need you the most... Now we have 3 week old puppies without their mother and the infancy stage is gonna be even harder on them without her so thanks a lot...

Not high pressure, they explain everything and why you would need it. They give you the power to choose what best suits your pet/family member. Ive never seen a better reception staff who really cares! The main receptionist was on all fours under the vet table helping me get the cone on my puppy after his neutering..who is terrified if the vet office! Im so impressed with her! Also one of the staff halved. My dogs pain pills for me which helps because he is a nightmare right now and it was one less thing for me to worry about. I dropped him off at 8am and picked him by around 630pm. This is my new vet and Im not going anywhere else. Very affordable and they really do give a s*** which is so rare lately!!!

When my Moms 12 year old Beagle - Harley got very ill we came to Affordable Veterinary Care Center and saw Dr. Cummings. Harley had a large mass in his pancreas area. Dr.Cummings talked with my Mom and I about what he found in Harley and it looked bad. He gave my Mom and I time to talk about sending Harley to Heaven. My Mom has been divorced from my dad for a long time and Harley was her best Friend, it was a difficult and sad discussion. We made our decision and...well Dr. Cummings was really kind and good and did his best, it was hard on my Mom. I am grateful to Dr. Cummings and the staff for their compassion and kindness. Thank you

I went here, spent over $200, achieved nothing and my cat almost died. They would not even refund me the money that I used to pay for the steroids that caused my cat to vomit blood and almost die. And to fix the problem that THEY caused, they made ME pay for all of it. I also waited two hours on my first visit (Even though I made an appointment) and another two the second day when I took my cat in after her near-death. Worst experience I have ever had. These "veterinarians" should not even be allowed to practice. Affordable... What a joke.

Switching vets. My cat is having breathing problems, they are unable to say for sure what it is but it "could" be asthma. Keep trying different medicines. Needless to say after several months (3-4) we have spend close to $1,000 and still do not know what is wrong. In addition to that, I spent 4 hours in the vets office one day. I am a working individual and do not have that kind of time.

Well I can say the first experience I had with these vets was 2 years ago when one of our dogs passed of old age in my arms was referred by my cousin because i was looking for a place to have him cremated . Also everyone I have been with from staff to vets have had a lot of compassion and willing to help. I was happy with it and glad to have a chance to find a place like this

Dr. Kuipers was very nice and straightforward. Even though we had to put down our cat, he gave us every option gave us every detail about what might happen. He even sent us a card telling us how sorry he was for our loss. Even tho we just buried our Cat Sandy, the card was very heartwarming. Best vet ive been to, doesnt charge for an office visit when you go for shots

I took my 4 year old cat here for the first time yesterday. She had a painful UTI. I must say this was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a vet office...and my own brother is a vet. The staff was wonderful and Dr. Cummings was so kind and gentle and understanding. I have found my long term vet. I am beyond happy that I found this place!
