Dr Good is the most unprofessional, angry, moody, dishelved people I have ever came in contact with. I was in his pressence for about 10 minutes and he displayed 3 different personalities, it was the wierdness thing ever- . I have three yorkies and two were seen at T&C within a week of each other if I had I known what I know now I could have saved one from this horrific experience. I was not very please with the first experience, but being fair and believing in second chances proved to be a huge mistake on my end. I took one of my Yorkies in to be spayed, but in the end she had to have two surgeries, one corrective surgery to fix the first botched one. They explained to me that the first set of stitches on the inside some how came undone which led to fluid leaking-it appeared to me that the insides of her stomach protruded making her appear pregnant. Needless to say the 2nd surgery was done and the Dr then stitched up one of my puppies nipples and I was told that when the stitches were removed and the swelling went down I would be able to see the nipple-I spoke with two other Drs there that said they could see the nipple and knew that it would look better with time. My dog lost that nipple-it indeed was sewn up and now she does not have it. Dr Good was very rude to me when I asked about it-claiming that maybe she didnt have one, and since she was being spayed that she didnt need it. I find that statement about her not needing her nipple absurd, if I have a procedure that prevents me from having children then I guess I dont need my breast....I brought my dog in whole and that is how she should have been returned to me. if I brought my dog in with ALL her nipples then ALL her nipples should be there. I asked him did he think that I should be financially responsible for this procedure-he told me if I spoke to anyone else about this they would laugh at me, I really dont see anything funny about corrective surgery and stitching up a dogs nipple. I explained this to him, and he simply talked over me and told me to call a lawyer and walked out. I will be calling a lawyer as I feel that someone needs to be informed, the reviews here are enough to throw up many many red flags. My statement is available for anyone who needs it in court as I hope to be able to use these statements in my case.Luckily for me I took pictures of my dog and I am sure a lawyer will find those interesting, I wish I could post the pictures on this site. I failed to mention that when I picked my puppy up they just kind of handed her to me without explaining anything and I looked down and to my surprise she looked like she had been thru hell her stitches appeared to have been placed by a 3 year old . Maybe the review about Dr Good being under the influence is correct. Wow, I cant believe he is still in business. Please dont use this facility, with me it was a nipple-for you it could be your pets life. I feel responsible for allowing my pet to be serviced there and I keep reading the reviews and people mention convenience as the reason they went to this facility--people please take the extra time to drive anywhere else besides this place. I am horried with not only Dr Good but the staff, most of them seem not to care about customer service or animals. I noticed that somone has a response for certain reviews, but let me say this before a response to this review is written. The staff lacks customer service and skill, they do take your dog to the back room when scales are in the rooms, they do make you wait at least 30 minutes in that small room, and after this experience I will never ever go back to the facility and I plan on telling everyone within ear shot of me how unprofessional this establishment is. I plan on reporting to the Better Business Bureau also. And to the review from "bestvetwife" her user name says it all! And whatever person they get to respond to my review think before you type.

After reading an abundance of exceptional reviews on yelp as well as several other sites, I decided that Town and Country Vet Clinic would be the ideal place to take my beloved dog Thomas. I was going out of the town the weekend before Thanksgiving and decided that this would be a perfect chance to both board my dog for the weekend and also give me an opportunity to see if I liked the clinic. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as I checked in. As I set up my play times for Thomas, the receptionist asked if I would like purchase pet kennel insurance for a couple bucks a day. Knowing that anything can happen, typically this would be a no-brainer, although since I was going down to Florida for Thanksgiving I decided to pass as there would be no benefit in Florida. As I came back for Thomas everything went smooth and he was as happy as ever to see me. We went for a quick walk and back in the car we drove down to Florida. The following day he seemed fine, stool was bit soft but I thought it may just be nerves and him getting acclimated with me again. The following day (Thanksgiving) I awoke around 6:30am to the sound of Thomas regurgitating, to my dismay there was a small amount of iron smell coming from the vomit. Over the next four days my poor dog was defecating blood with a mix of diarrhea. Hoping that this was just the aftermath of nerves and being boarded,I fed him chicken and white rice. It appeared to be working as his poop began to slowly solidify. Finally on Saturday morning we determined the root cause of it all when he threw up a sponge. From here his poop turned into straight liquid blood. I was hopeful at this point that it was a stomach bug as he still appeared fine. If it continued, it was decided that I would bring him back to Town and Country on Monday when they were open. We arrived at home late Saturday night and I spent many hour walking him. Sunday morning there were no improvements and Thomas was beginning to look weak. Throughout the process he seemed strong which is why I didnt take him to the ER sooner. After the ER he was given some antibiotics and pills to stop diarrhea. I am still unsure as to how he got a hold of the sponge while under watch at Town and Country Vet, nor what hazardous substance may have been on the sponge. One thing is for sure, my dog ingested a sponge that should have never been at his disposal. There was no other opportunity that this could have occurred, as I was in a hotel with no sponge at all. After multiple discussions with management, they have refused to cover any of the financial burden that they have left me with, due to their own negligence. I highly recommend that you look else where if you would like to have you pet cared for while you are away, because Town and Country clearly does not care..

I requested to be taken off the mailing list several times and received confirmation that I was. They insist on emailing me and now wanting a review for $10 of the next visit. Well, they can keep the $10. I used this clinic for YEARS!!! Dr. Good wayyyy back in the day was great! A++. I had ONE really bad experience with one of his associates that was my fault. I accidently mixed two meds that I should not have and when I rushed her to the vet his associate, knowing what I gave her had NO CLUE what was wrong. Finally reached the specialist office that Dr. Good referred her to and when I told them what I gave her they IMMEDIATELY said that was the problem. Thankfully she was okay, SHAME on the VET for not knowing! They specialist said she should have known as soon as I got there. I cant remember that Dr.s name. Dr. C is GREAT! Not sure if he is still in that office or not. But from that point on, I used Dr. Good. Dr. C was seldom there and of course no way was I going to any other of his associates! HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!! Something was wrong with my 12.5 yr old Akita/Shep mix. It was painful for him to go to the bathroom. Dr. Good put him on meds. They did not work. I would leave Dr. Good a message to call, he never returned the call. I would call the front office they would leave him messages, no return call. This went on for days as my baby got worse and worse! I ended up at Sprayberry Animal Hospital, Dr. Steven Fairchild. He tried one thing and when that did not work sent me to a specialist. My baby was diagnosed with PROSTATE CANCER and passed four months later!!!!! I even contacted Dr. Goods office to let them know that they completely ignored me and what was truly wrong with him and THEY DID NOT CARE! It seemed to me that Dr. Good was more interested in getting publicity on the News then caring for his patients. Even those that probably built his house! The ONLY reason I gave two stars was becasue at one point they were good so I gave him a star for that. Never ever will I step foot in that place again. Dr. Fairchild at Sprayberry LISTENS! Does not discount your concerns, he is compassionate and caring. I have been using him now for 5 years and would be beside myself if I had to look for someone else. Thank Goodness he listed to me about my baby! In fact, I think he knew exactly what was wrong based on the symptoms but really wanted to try one thing before turning my world upside down. He is awesome!
