This dentists poor quality of work ruined many teeth in my mouth. Even his endodontists work was of the poorest quality. I am having yet another tooth extracted tomorrow because the endodontist did not fill one canal properly and the crown which Dr. Lorin Berland made has gaps and bacteria got into the tooth. Many of Dr. Berlands crowns did not fit properly and I obtained opinions from 2 other Fellows of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and from UTSW and several other dentists. Further he yelled at me in my face and dismissed me as a patient after my very expensive and ill designed 6 tooth bridge was very painful. This dentist is all about the almighty dollar. He has no talent and in fact told me that I needed a more skillful dentist than he is. His endodontists work was very poor--overfills, underfills and I lost a tooth because he left a file inside the tooth resulting in a botched root canal...after the extraction, only i v antibiotics would heal the extraction site. I am from out of town. I came into town to help my elderly mother, she had broken her lower plate and was unable to eat. Dr. Berland was able to see her, and he suggested she have the plate fixed rather than replacing it for much more $$$. He was able to get that done before I left town!! And nearly a year later, the plate is holding up great! Also, he is just the nicest man you could ever meet! I am so glad we found him online. I found him by googling "best dentist Dallas" and up popped his name! I definitely agree. Laurie Jackson

I had 12 upper veneers done by Dr. Berland replacing discolored teeth and they are beautiful. Every appointment was a pleasure (as much as any dentist can be), and I am delighted with the results. Dr. Kong in his office also did six-month smile braces on my lower teeth. She was a delight to work with and the result was fantastic. The staff are pleasant, knowledgeable and caring. Cant recommend them highly enough.
